I sent him a mail back in July 2012 because he said he was open; after an initial confirmation that he was okay with accepting my commission, I never heard back from him.

Fortunately this was *before* money exchanged hands, and after seeing other entries here, I didn't ask again.

Looks like things haven't changed much, sadly.
