It's kinda like she (and others who do the same thing) doesn't understand that commissioning art isn't just about getting some art, and if the client ends with a bad taste in their mouth, any "freebies" will be just sour after that. And at least I personally would not use any icon that would just remind me of a deal that went bad and unresolved.
