I understand your feelings. But you need to understand that while you may want to be more personal with your customers, they don't always feel the same way. A lot of times they're just people who want to purchase a product, not someone trying to be your friend.

It would be extremely uncomfortable if I went to a Gamestop to pick up a preorder and the cashier told me such private tragedies. I would probably go elsewhere from then on.
