I agree. It really infuriates me when there's a post that makes these claims, but they have no names or evidence to back it up. I know in furry its supposedly 'taboo' to voice complaints when you have them to avoid drama - but something like a suit falling apart on initial wear? That is not something that can be kept under the rug. Even for the sake of 'no drama'.
