What I'm saying is that you have essentially two points - the hip and the waist. No matter what image you choose so long as it's a reasonable match, you'll be able to get a fair amount of overlap there just by scaling it with a 1:1 ratio. Hips are pretty simple curves so you're going to get a lot of overlap there. The shoulder lining up could have just been luck. However, even that isn't what the OP did. She distorted the image too: http://www.spiffyspace.com/misc/example6acorn.gif No wonder it lines up "so well."
