FA is pretty... hit and miss with situations like this. Sometimes, they'll really go after the people (there was one person posted here and they got their problematic artist banned like the next day) and sometimes they shrug it off as a transaction between two users and having nothing to do with the site itself (another poster, shortly after the previous example I mentioned, got told it wasn't the mods problems.)

Until they have a concrete policy regarding scammers, etc. there's nothing we can do except hope that they'll take these issues seriously.
