On one hand, they did set their own deadline, and apparently did not meet it. I can understand you'd be upset about that, for sure. The lack of communication is also disappointing. I don't mean to belittle what's happening here at all when I say the following.
Do you think you were being a little excessive when you asked your father about the area? I don't know, I guess to me that seems... a little creepy.
I also feel like... maybe you sent one too many emails, posted one too many shouts? I can definitely understand the frustration with no communication whatsoever, but it'd only take a couple of emails and maybe one shout. I think I would have left it to maybe one a week, then send them a note / email / comment / whatever with a big bold
