Artist Beware: Isil

The rest is under a cut as there are pictures of notes.

PROOF: I had commissioned the badge which was finished very quickly, but I never recieved the physical copy despite paying for shipping.

And a note sent on Weasyl.

EXPLAIN: I commissioned a small, traditional badge from Isil. The original piece for the badge was $5, with an extra $3 if you wanted it to be shipped to you. Isil completed the badge very quickly, but I was told it would be sent out to me a few times. The last note was never replied to, but shows that it has been read. I've tried to contact Isil on Weasyl as well.

I am just not sure what to do :(

A bit worrisome that they've deactivated their FA account and their Weasyl is blank as well. Maybe someone who sees this knows of a current gallery to reach them.

Have you tried their paypal address? That may be the last way to contact them.

This is odd that they deactivated their accounts and seems to be ignoring notes...

By any chance did their T.O.S say anything about lost/damaged items through the mail? There may be a chance that it got shipped out and got lost in the mail.

Ether way the artist SHOULD contact you back no matter what. If you find them/get them to reply back and get them to send the badge (if they did not). If they did and it has not shown up try to ask them if they can make a digital copy of this badge and re send it your way.

If they lied once or twice, they probably lied the last time they said they'd ship it. From the info listed, it's likely the artist never actually shipped it.

And to the OP, I suggest contacting the paypal email if you can.

Probably my fault if I missed it, but I don't think they had a TOS! If it got lost in the mail they could just tell me and I would be 100% understanding as I know these things happen sometimes.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but the last time I had update of Isil was through Teahound.

Apparently his computer is down and out for the count currently?
I don't know if the pair are still together, but it may be worth a shot to try and contact Teahound to get to Isil?:
