WHAT: It was agreed as a digital peice, A rave picture for a picture of one of my chars. It was so long ago I cant even remember what I wanted. :\

EXPLAIN:  .7 months ago, we agreed to a trade. And I finished mine, as seen above. He said He'd finish his. I kept reminding him after a month later, so I waited again... he was busy. So I was like "ok~ :3" And 7 months pass. he opens many journals stating "trades open" (I only found this one) So I reminded him again. he quickly shied out.

I dont know what to do here... X__X any help?

he offered to finish it after he finished some commsions, but he keeps taking commisions and getting backed up again.
And now because of incidents like this, I CANT do trades with strangers.

.. is he seriously saying it's okay to scam people for free art and skimp out on his half of trades because he took too long? Am I reading this correctly?

That's how I interpreted it. He took too long, so he's "cancelling" his outstanding trades.

I just wanted to make sure... because that is incredibly stupid logic.

Next time I hire a plumber, I'll tell him after he fixes my sink that I'll pay him later. Half a year later, I'll shrug and tell him I don't feel like paying anymore because it's been so long. Totally canceling his payment.

I'm sure that'll go over just fine, right? And it's not unethical at all.

It also says on that journal that he's still working on current trades. Does the OP's trade now count as one of those for some reason? This is confusing.

I'm guessing it was more recent trades he was going to do, as he said that the older ones were cancelled.
