EXPLAIN: the original post where she states the turn-around time will be "within a couple weeks" was on Sept 15th. I paid on the 19th. I checked in with her on November 2nd, which she replied to on November 5th saying it would be done by the end of the weekend (the 5th was a Saturday). I checked in again on November 29th and January 3rd and got no responses to those. All the dates and messages are the pictures above. I found her FA a few weeks ago and sent her a note 17 days ago which is still unopened (but it looks like she hasn't been active there in the past month, so that could be why).

It's not a lot of money, and I know life gets in the way of things sometimes. I just want some confirmation from her that she's actually going to do it, or the money back.

Her last LJ post was in October and she use to post regularly on her LJ, if she isn't reading notes I'm assuming she isn't coming online.

I've had good business with her in the past so I'm not sure what's going on but I sent her an email with a link to this so maybe if she uses an Iphone or something she'll see the email pop up.

Sorry, I assumed harassment was against the rules but didn't know pointing someone in this direction so they can hopefully make good on their owed art was forbidden.

2. Whatever happens in the community, stays within the community. Do not go to the offender's LJ or art site account and harass them, or contact them any other way if the matter under discussion does not regard you personally.

Like I said I understand that you were trying to help, but the rule clearly forbids everything to make sure that there are no loopholes and also ensuring the comm complies fully with LJ ToS.

Off-the-record we don't have a problem with someone helping in this manner, it's only an issue if it's publicly brought to our attention, if you catch my drift?

hey, a quick update:

i ended up having a bunch of real life drama this past week (effff dealing with car insurance) and so was only able to really get to the icons yesterday. yours hasn't been started yet. so, one last last proposal, since i actually want to make the icon!

either you can have the refund right now, or you can wait until tomorrow when the superbowl starts when you will either get the refund or the icon plus a picture like this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/shippeth/erddddde.jpg) (that is what i did for the first person on the queue - her icon is here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/shippeth/erdesmoke.gif) just as proof that i'm doing them haha)

let me know what you'd like to do. i feel really bad about this, but i'd really rather give you the art just to get me making art, you know? but i totally understand if you'd rather have the refund and will send it to you promptly if that's what you wish! again, super sorry about this whole mess.

hey! i am really, really sorry for having dropped off the face of the earth, these past few months have been rough to say the least and my preferred method of dealing with depressive cycles is to pretty much cut off most of my ties to the rest of humanity.

this also makes it super easy to forget about stuff like this.

as far as the icon goes, how about if it's not done by this friday (feb 3) i will refund the money? i'll probably throw in a little something extra as well for making you wait an absurd amount of time for a little thing.

hey, just an update. i had some car drama this past week that took up a good deal of my free time and thus was only able to get to the icons last night. the lineart is almost complete on yours; it's been taking me awhile to get right but i really like how it's looking so if it's cool with you i'd like to finish it? i'll also throw in a picture like this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/shippeth/erddddde.jpg) and you'll have them both most likely tonight and at the very latest tomorrow before the superbowl starts!
