EXPLAIN:  I don’t have all the logs any longer (had a harddrive failure), but after paying the artist in May I agreed to wait until June 2010 for the work.  Then artist requested more time and I allowed that.  After that point getting a hold of the artist became very difficult and replies seemed to stop coming. I have requested a refund from the artist and have seen nothing yet. Unfortunately the paypal buyer protection time had passed so I was unable to file for a refund with paypal.

There's some HTML coding that's causing your cut tags not to work.

They posted this using the Rich Text portion of LJ which is why their HTML does not work. They need to go back and follow the Rich Text directions for an LJ-cut on the template page.

Yeah, I noticed right away after posting. Thought I was in HTML mode, but in any case it's now fixed

They seem rather active, an according to their journal footer, everyone who's been kept waiting will be getting a refund 'eventually'.

Have you attempted to comment on their page or journal to get a direct response?

In a note you might want to mention to them that they have been posted here -- usually that gets some artists to respond.
