WHO: Kee/Kyme/Inarolyn/Iaz/Janks/Len/Neicom

WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kee (all the above are also FA accounts that she has hopped between, but Kee is her current).

WHAT: Tracing. Most of the traces are partial and have been "frankensteined".

WHEN: This has been going on for awhile from what I have been able to figure.

EXPLAIN: Again, I was asked to post this here by several people after compiling multiple instances of her tracing of recent. A lot of people felt a public warning should be made, since she jumps accounts quite frequently. She's also traced several times in the past, but I haven't been able to locate the originals.

Almost all the traces have been of artists whom she's watching, the only exception being my own art.

There were a few others that were TCBY commissions that I am certain were traced, but I never saved the files.

As is evidenced, her anatomy flipflops from really well done, to filled with errors. If anyone can provide originals for some of the suspected traces, it'd be appreciated as well. NO ONE improves that greatly in a five month period, drawing as rarely as she does. I don't think everything she uploads/draws is traced, but much of it is.

There is no WAY any of the above have been distorted, as I did use the shift key as I was told.

In my opinion, the last three are the most definitive because of how much of each lined up so perfectly. The rest only appear to be small hip/waist areas that were used.

Well, here, I did an overlay (http://www.spiffyspace.com/misc/example1acorn.gif) where I traced Ajna's picture (har har har) in your example with a redline, then pasted the picture and resized and rotated it WITHOUT distorting. Resizing may distort an image in Photoshop with transform-->scale (what I use) unless you hold down shift key, which locks the proportions.

I think it's pretty clear the image used in your example has been stretched vertically.

I don't have photoshop, and I use Sai. As I said, Sai's scaling tool can fuck things up if not used carefully. So the one of Ajna's can most certainly be dismissed.

There you go with your bias again. The lines on the face matched up, which are much less attributed to gesture drawing or referencing, and in two cases the artist owned up to the allegations, or it was common knowledge the artist did trace. I seriously recommend you take some time away from the internet, Acorn. You are really not helping your situation here, something several mods have indicated to you on this community and making this a beware about your inability to recognize your own bias and hubris towards this community about being right!

I see the tracing. And just cause some of you don't agree doesn't give you the right to attack Acorn.....

Okay. Well. I went through *every single example* you posted, except for numbers seven and eight, where I only went through the first overlays (not all three overlays).

ALL of the examples have been distorted, not just rotated and resized.

I will post the proof later tonight. I need to do other things right now.

The only ones I have not checked yet are the second and third overlays of examples seven and eight. The first examples of seven and eight are distorted.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I can see most of these as Frankenstein, or at least you can see the artist was heavily inspired by such pieces. While the latter isn't a bad thing, the first one is a no-no.

I'm pretty stunned at that overlay. Just... wow. :/

I'm trying to work with the overlays of eight, and I'm having troubles having the art line up in the picture where the overlay is with the foot. It seems like the only way I can even remotely get it to line up is to squish the picture vertically.

I've gone ahead and posted a public apology to FA.

I also wish to apologize here, I acted very rashly and did get frustrated and angry over the way I started to be treated, as well as how the whole situation was treated.

I did contact admins, who contacted me back and acknowledged that there are quite a few that line up far too much. They are only going to issue the user a warning for now, and informed her that she must cite sources, since the images were changed enough that they aren't complete traces. If the user continues, they will give her a suspension.

I just want to apologize if I came off as rude. I can get irritated and frustrated with other people very easily, but it's no excuse for my responses and actions towards the people here.

Eh, I know I'm poking at this post with a stick at this point, but I see a bunch of relatively overused poses common to furry art...and that's pretty much it. A lot of these poses or things similar can be found on posemaniacs.

I will say though.

That everyone here seems silly. Everyone attacking Acorn seems silly, Acorn seems silly, everything here is silly.

It's the internet people, things happen. Don't get your panties in a bunch about it.

I would personally appreciate if you did that, as it does put some more interesting light on the situation if it's true.

I use Sai as well. When you re size a picture, it CAN'T distort unless you click on a shortcut on your keyboard or select "free" under the options, the default option is "transform".

"Free" basically means that you can take a corner, pull it and the picture will distort.

But, there is one way to distort something when you're on "transform", you can squish or elongate a picture, but it can't stretch vertically, like spiffy showed, unless it'd done on purpose.

Yeah, it's possible that I accidentally squished when I sized up. I admit that that one is questionable and can definitely be dismissed.

You misunderstood. Squishing can happen, but that's not at all what happened when you look at the pictures again. They're distorted purposely, because they're done so vertically, which you can only do when selecting those options personally.

Oh, and I used the Transform tool. I should have been more specific. I can do a stream on Monday and show everyone here how I did it if it's desired.

And I just added an addendum. I did use the transform tool. If everyone doubts me so much, I can do a stream on Monday showing how I did the overlays.

Seeing that multiple examples were outright distorted to make them match just makes this whole thing seem much more wrong than it is. I thought the artist was at least taking shortcuts initially, but since the overlays were manipulated now I think this is pure grudge.

It is also interesting that only AFTER the manipulation comes out does Acorn apologize.

Again, I am more than willing to stream on Monday to show how I did the overlays.

I believe after this evidence, we can all see how you did the overlays.
