WHAT: WonderfullyG has been tracing art for some time. Most of them are just traced from google images and uploaded on her websites as Preposes or YCH auctions.

WHEN:  In april I discovered she was tracing art and selling it to people (Which I will link below). I submited a report ticket to FA but as usual they did nothing. A few months ago she was tracing an artists canine face http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9803068/ . I contacted the artist whom brought up this issue with wonderfullyG. The artist told me that wonderfullyg claimed she did not trace (which with image overlay proved that was a lie). The artist warned her not to trace her art again . She DID take down all the art she sold with those faces so I unfortunately do not have any examples. Currently she is selling halloween preposes traced from google costumes.

I didn't bother searching for the other halloween costumes. I figured two examples are good enough.


I just thought everyone should know about this. Personally as an artist I am absolutely offended by what this girl is doing. She was warned once by someone and clearly hasn't learned her lesson. I believe most of her gallery is traced art. I just haven't put forth the time to bother looking for the originals. Please beware if you bid/commission or buy from her.

I've reported them twice in the past for traced art; each time, the traces were taken down by admins but no further action was taken. =/

Something tells me she'll try to make other accounts, though, I hope you've got an IP ban. Earlier this year, someone who I reported for spamming and who got banned continued making several accounts before anyone IP banned them. =/

I am sorry for havin traced art and anime. I got suspended for it and I stopped. I went to real life people and porn. I didn't know people would be able to tell and that it wasn't against the rules. If I could id pay everyone back. I always felt bad abou it. I will not be drawing any more unless just for myself on computer.
Hopefully my ip has not been banned nor my other accounts. I will not be drawings did like to the account so you all would see no art being sold. But I really wish to keep making yarn tails for others. Earn money maybe able to pay some people back. And plus I want to continue to own the Texas furs group and meet some actual real life fur friends.
But I will not be doing art any more I promise you that. I do not wish to hurt more people or make even more hate me. It's as al the greed for money that made me do it. I wish I never had the greed which ruined all the fun and friends I had gotten.

This is a refreshingly honest response. It is INCREDIBLY rare that a tracer speaks up, apologizes, and actually stops. Or at least I hope you'll keep to your word and stop.

I'm sure you don't need a lecture for why tracing is wrong and blah blah. I'm sure you know it is and why. All I'm asking is that you please don't relapse again.

When she was warned and had traced art deleted after my report in January, she posted a journal throwing a fit about how she should shouldn't be reported because she needs the money and why don't I just go and report someone else instead and generally throwing a tantrum. That also doesn't help my opinion of her response here. =/

I wish I still had my original account back. I'd delete every thing art that's evereverever Drew and just keep my characters and yarn tails there so I don't lose touch with people. But it can not be helped. If my ip is not banned I will just have to start newant try and remember usernames lol

All in all tracing is very bad. You can reference the picture for ideas and the like. Tracing doesn't help further your artistic ability, it will just make you lazy at it. If you enjoy drawing anime/manga type try some of the "how to" books or even the online guides. They are a great source of information. just keep practicing, all the tracing will do is, not only get you in trouble, but drastically lower your own artistic abilities. Take your time and learn the proper way then turn it into your own style. That's how I learned to draw anime/manga and my commissioners are very happy with the outcomes due to my style.

I have a couple TTs for traced or stolen work from up to May, that no one has taken care of.

I also have one where a mod replied, and refused to take action. I had provided proof that mods had taken action before and I even quoted the AUP at them, and they still refused.

'neer also replies to FA Notes, but those response times are much slower. I almost always get a reply within a day--if not minutes or hours, if he's awake and online--if I Tweet him.

For a quick response, I'd honestly make a throw-a-way Twitter just to do this.

Yeah, I recently had a ticket responded to (that I made in July) of someone uploading a TV show screenshot that they drew their character onto. Most of the image was the screenshot. The mod said it wasn't breaking any rules, but even after quoting the AUP, they said it was fine. I want to bring it to someone else, but I am not sure who.

Mine is one of those wolf color overs from google. I've reported tons, and every one has been removed. This mod said 'Because the user has added their own work to it, I'm going to permit this remain up.'

I quoted the AUP and gave them the ticket that I recently had with the same issue. No response at all.

Yeah, that is pretty much the response I got too. Maybe it is the same mod? Yet the mod that dealt with my ticket recently removed a submission my friend made of a game skin they created because a few background elements weren't created by them... or something like that.

Seems like it should be the same issue, but my friend got the opposite response.

I know you want to get your account back, but publicly admitting that you'll make a new one is a really, really, REALLY bad idea. And it causes a lot of problems for the FA admins--they're jobs are hard enough, don't you think?

The first step to showing everyone that you're truly sorry is to change what you're doing and start following the rules, period, end of story. Being honest here on A_B is an AMAZING step in the right direction, I think, so keep up with those steps! Practice, practice, practice, and start to form your own style, and with all that practice I bet you'll be better than ever before.
