I agree that it was tactlessly worded, but to be fair the vibe I got from it was more self-deprecating than that. It's sort of hard to explain- she might have been guilty and self-conscious about the 3-year-wait and meant to sympathize with him. I read it as less of a "your troubles aren't important because think about this guy!" and more "I feel so terrible about this poor guy".
It very well could be that she meant to be comparing misfortune like that, but I think she just screwed up her wording, as from skimming the other beware she seems to feel guilty about the wait times and usually speaks professionally. I can see how someone could make that wording mistake. Although I might have missed other bad conduct if someone could quote?
She's still making excuses of course, and that she is having someone ELSE finish a head rubs me the wrong way a little bit. Hopefully she ran it by the commissioner first. Another thing is that she's asking fursuit commissioners to email her, but in a journal. Not everyone sees journals, they get nuked all the time.
I dunno, either way the general vibe I get is that she bit off more than she could chew and is making some mistakes, but genuinely wants to make things right. I hope she can stick to her refund promise this time. :c
