How odd that they silently strung you along, silently marked you for refund, and then silently refunded you. I haven't seen a case where there was such an utter lack of response from the artist... this is as bare-minimum as you can get. I'm glad they *did* refund you at least, but I'm honestly really surprised about how they handled this. I've never seen that before and it's a bit strange.
