Just an FYI...in between the time I submitted this AB journal and the time this journal was actually posted, Frindle finished the second and final commission out of the blue. Still was dissatisfied with the way the commissions were handled so I want to mark it "Resolved," including a tag at the bottom if mods can do that.

WHO: FA user "Frindle"

WHERE: FurAffinity. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/frindle

WHAT: Two full-body shaded commissions, both worth $45.

WHEN: On May 12, 2013, Frindle posted a journal advertising LiveStream commissions. I bought two because I thought her style was unique and she was offering a "buy one, get the second half off" sale. I was under the impression these would be done THE SAME DAY that I purchased them, hence her use of the word "Streaming" in the journal title. What resulted was a 6+ month long delay full of excuses, attempts at pity, and lack of responses. If it weren't for my numerous attempts to prod her, these commissions would be nowhere near finished.

PROOF: Well...where do I begin? I wasn't able to get everything but that'd drive me nuts if I got any more than I already have here.

I need advice on this. I'm not sure what to do.

I have a customer who paid me for a bodysuit two years ago. I have consistently asked for measurements in order to make the suit, but they haven't gotten back to me. Contact is sporadic via skype and email. Half the time my emails bounce. They always say they don't want to take the measurements on their own and that they feel unsure about the process. I've given them really detailed instructions as well as a measurement chart and example images. They confirmed receiving that email.

I've offered a refund, but they don't want one--plus I have the matching fur which is hard to find nowadays. What to do? As some on this community might remember, I have previous bewares (now resolved) due to lost contact because of my depression. I don't want to keep waiting and then get depressed again and be unable to complete the work when they do provide measurements.

I want to be as responsible as possible and prevent future slip-ups. I've stopped taking commissions, but having this bodysuit on my list is holding me back from being able to devote my time and space to other (personal) projects.

Hey, I've got someone who's contacted me about a commission for a logo for a friend of their dad who runs a Dutch radio station. With the language barrier the person who contacted me is the one negotiating the commission and obviously I'd rather sell the rights to the logo image so they can use it for whatever they want and I don't need to worry about not knowing whether they're using it commercially in a way that hadn't been agreed upon prior and basically avoiding what could be a massive headache all around.

My problem being, I've never sold the rights to an image before as I always retain my rights to the images I do for regular commissions so I've not got a single clue what I should charge for the full rights to the image?
I'd charge about £30-£40 for the logo itself, but no idea what I should charge for the rights. I tried looking about on my own but it was pretty confusing and figured just asking for advice would be easier.
