Warning against an annoyance

I'm just putting a warning up for everyone about a guy named Andrew Rinaldi, Andrew2006 over at DA.

Basically what he does is hounds artists down and asks them to draw him pictures for free, even when they tell him that they only do commissions or are too busy for another request.

Awhile back I posted up an image I did for a school project. It was of me transforming into a tiger. It was done on five sheets of paper and fully shaded. The next day this guy adds me to MSN and just asks me to do the EXACT same thing for him, for free. When I tell him that piece took me about three weeks to do, and is something I'd only ever do again via commission, he promtly asks me if I'm finished his piece yet. He asked me what... Two minutes ago? So I decide I'll be nice and draw an anthro version of him.

After explaining to him that I'm heavily bogged down in portfolio work, commissions, trades, etc, and that I'll have it done in about month, he hounds me day in and day out asking if his picture is done, even though I told him that I'm too busy to work on his image and that he has to wait a month. I eventually told him that if he asks me again, I won't be doing his request. He asks me if his picture is done ten minutes later.

I ended up blocking him and using an older MSN account when he ADDS me. Turns out, he's found out my old MSN accounts and have added me to his list aswell as he keeps e-mailing me.

This guy cannot type to save his life, and his grammar is incoherent. Unfortunately I'm not the only one he's harassed. He's harassed several artists on DA including Psiguy, Lessthanhuman, Admyrrek, and Epsilonarge. According to Epsilonarge he's even gone to Yahoo artist groups.

In a nutshell, don't accept a request from this guy unless you are in to being nagged and harassed. And once you do an image for him, he'll ask for another, and another.

Soo...yeah. The guy needs to be forcibly sterilized.

Seems I need to be on your friend's list to read that convo.

But yes, he is a plauge sent upon us. Never before have I had to deal with someone so annoying I've had to hide from them. I'm a tolerant person but yeesh, this guy made me literally expload.

I think he needs to be exterminated, or have someone make his computer blow up in his face.

I recall calling him "An annoying fly that deserves to be swatted" and he left me alone for a week until I'm guessing he forgot. Eventually someone is going to file a harassment suit against him.

Sounds like someone who emailed someone I know. "Hi. I basically want to be your friend so that'll your draw me free stuff." I mean really. I hate asking my friends for any drawings and when someone starts a drawing, I'm almost never going to ask them if they're done it. I don't even feel okay with asking someone I commission how the piece is going. >>

That sounds a lot like him. He tried to get all friendly with me. I feel guilty for asking people for requests when they're offering them. I prefer to do trades for their services, but sometimes I just don'thave the time.

Yeah, one of my friends was like "Hey, I really like how your character sounds. Send me a description about her? I wanna draw her."

So I told her "I don't really like doing that kind of thing. ^^; I feel bad asking."

"Well, I was going to draw you something anyway, so SURPRISE! :D"

Hell, I can't even convince myself to ask for art trades often. I feel like my art isn't good enough or something. >>

Yeah, I've heard of this guy before, he's an annoyance. If he pesters you on dA, report him to the helpdesk.

The situation is this.

Andrew Rinaldi has harrassed multiple artists, namely any TF artist he can find (me being an example.)

He will then say "you draw pic ok" and "it me andrew you draw pic ok" (or some other Driblish) via any communication he can get his hands on (Yahoo, AIM, MSN, doesn't matter, he will find a way.)

He will not stop even when told to do so. He will just not stop till he gets a picture.

And if you want time to do a picture for him, think again. He will CONSTANTLY nag you day in, day out with "it me andrew you draw pic ok" until you finish it.

If your one of the many artists that gets nagged by this "moron" then please, report him to the admin (DeviantART for a start) because this "idiot" needs to be banned pronto before he harrasses anymore artists...

In the past few months, his given me more headaches then I can bare and worse, he won't even leave my friends alone. I also find his been harrassing users over at DeviantART when he was told "completely" to stop harrassing artists.

Sorry, I'm tired and I'm sick of this idiot getting away with this unhainess crime of harrassment and stalking. Its gone far enough. If anyone gets harrassed by him, just report him to DeviantART's admin.

I've heard about alot of harassment artists get form him. I know he was caught for posting art on DA that wasn't his a few times.. i say if he contacts you don't reply and instantly block him.

Just report to the DA admin that his stealing artwork and harrassing you, that ends that subject. His own stupidity will get him in the end.

Knowing him, he's too stupid to realize that he got banned for being a dink, so he'll just get another account. Hopefully they'll IP ban him.

Atleast its a good warning to artists "not" to do TF artwork for the moron, he seriously doesn't deserve it.
