Is Darzi Paying Back Refunds Or Is It Just More Excuses?

Plus a whole slew of other people who have been burned by Darzi but her unexpected hyatis from doing her commission work. Has ANYBODY gotten any refunds from her??? Like received actually payment back for their spent money they gave her for ANYTHING and got nothing in return but grief?

As of June 23rd Darzi FINALLY, after months of pestering her and getting a damn lawyer (who is luckily a friend of the family doing stuff for me for next to nothing) involved, started contacting me again to promise she was going to start paying me back a refund in installments. So weeks go by and she has been saying that there are others in line ahead of me. (Well, I mean, I've already been waiting over A YEAR so how many could that possibly be right) Anyway, just happy I think I'm finally making progress so I have been patiently waiting the past two months for some compensation of the $400+ dollars I paid her over a year ago. SO yea.... not even $5.00 bucks yet. Just more excuses. Seriously... I feel like I just keep getting the same crap regurgitated at me over and over and I am just too understanding and keep swallowing it.

So my question is, who are these people getting these supposed refunds? IS ANYONE actually getting refunds? If so, maybe I'll sit tight for a few more weeks and give the girl a chance, but I have a feeling nobody is getting paid back squat and this girl is just trying to stall me until my statute of limitations for bringing her ass to court passes so she can just write me off.

So can anybody help me out here?

Oh... I tried tagging this Darzi/sneezyweasles but I cant seem to get it to load right.

I wish the mods would do individual name tags, the current system makes it really hard to find a particular artist. I mean, if I'm going to buy from, say "dicelion" and I go look in the "d" section of the tags to see if this person has any warnings against them, I'm not going to find any. Because "dicelion" is under "kurenaipaladin/dicelion/svetlana/" But I only know the one name.

That would add soooo many more tags, and it's hard to keep up with how many there are when we're tagging as it is... but if you ctrl-f for dicelion, you'll find it.

If I were in your shoes, I'd give her a certain amount of time (few weeks) to start paying up, and if she dosen't pay at the end of that... well, unleash the lawyer. It's probably the only way that you'll see your money again. :/

In my case it was about $60 that I lost. VERY annoying because I could have used that money for other things, but not enough for me to want to go through the hassle of taking it to court.

Also this is the easiest way for us (the mods) to keep up with all the name changes that go on with certain people.

Believe me, it takes sometime to retag after we find yet another name.

Just a suggestion but how about adding k454i to the start of the dicelion tag or at least somewhere in it since that is her email address and one of her starting names?

It's a shame we don't have a stickied post detailing all the names artists like that hide under so people can find them.

There's a pretty short character limit on tags and she has so many names people know her by... fortunately, most people aren't that bad.

Hmm I wonder if we should have a modpost entry for a master list of those with a huge amount of alt names and what tags to find them under. If anything that could at least keep people informed of the alternate names and know exactly what tag they're under.

Does she have a job?

If she doesn't give you proof of who she is refunding (and legit people too, not sure if she will make up names or not), then go ahead and try to take it to the next level.

If she doesn't have a job, sadly, taking her to court won't do much since she won't magically come up with the money. However, I still encourage you to do this since it 99% of the time scares people into acting.

Yea, she does have a job, at least that's what she has been saying when she DOES email me anyway. I just sent her a really PISSED OFF email telling her to basically put up or shut up. I'll give her two weeks to pay me back SOMETHING, not even the whole balance, just to begin making good on her promise and I'll back off. Even if she has to pay me $5.00 a week for the next 6.8 years (That's how long it would actually take for her to pay me back fully) >_
