Who: Sviperin (original account I dealt with), squidmndMs.Delicious

Where: Furaffinity.net

When: Little before February 16th, 2010

What: Trade, traditional badge

Info: Unfortunately most records of the earlier transaction have been deleted so I apologize about that. Anyway, about two years ago I posted a journal asking to do some traditional badge trades. That post has been since deleted for I don't keep my journals for long after I tend to finish what is on them. Sviprein and a few others inquired. I was really into Sivperin's character so I was excited to do so. It took a week or two to finish (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3431926/) and a little later it was laminated and mailed to her. I have since forgotten about it until a year later when I found out her account was compromised/hacked and was banned. I honestly forgot after a while then contacted her on her new account Ms.Delicious.

First Contact Note(s): http://pics.livejournal.com/ryunwoofie/pic/0000pk75

After I contacted her I waited patiently since October 12th, 2011 with new information about what I wanted done. Since then she said she was busy with school, which I can relate. But since then she has pumped out a lot of icons and other commission related stuff so I once again inquired about the deal. At this point I was a little miffed that she kept keeping my trade off at this point. I tried to ask for something smaller and easier for I just wanted something/anything at this point.

Second Contact Note(s): http://pics.livejournal.com/ryunwoofie/pic/0000szz5

After I noted her the last straw and the final idea/info she put immediately posted a journal stating she was going on hiatus. I myself find it very suspicious and rude.. She read my last note but has not responded. At this point I have no idea if she'll just account hop again and avoid things. I just wanted to put this out there for others to see.

Originally I had NO intentions of making an A_B about this trade until she decided to be immature and run away on a "hiatus" with no response or good reason... Very very disappointed.

Edit 1:
Got a response http://pics.livejournal.com/ryunwoofie/pic/0000trt9
Will update if she follows through.

I'll never understand people putting so much effort into flouncing and/or avoiding people instead of just going 'My bad!' and doing the art or providing money in place of their side. It's just so counter-productive and takes a lot more effort than just fixing the problem.

Well that's tremendously disappointing. :/ I hope she responds to your last note soon.

Wow, her attitude seems terrible judging by her accounts.

Well, from what I've seen she's quite the account hopper. :V She's seemingly a bit flaky on things. :/ She has always seemed to be in the "need" to do trades and the "need" to be in with popular artists. Sorry to hear how this is going for you. :( People should just do what they owe! X0

well she's off my radar now... (This makes me wonder if I should do a A_B on an artist that I hadn't got art from yet...)

I don't know this person, or any past drama, and i agree it sucks that you've had to wait like two years to get a trade no less X.X I wouldn't do business with this person, but every time I've seen someone go on hiatus superfast it usually turns out to be some kind of family emergency/moving/etc. I've done it myself once because of family stuff but it only lasted a week, and its weird not to explain why you'd be going on hiatus so people at least know. Anyways, they seem immature and incapable of dealing with business matters at best, and a scammer at worst.

Ahh I knew why the names sounded familiar. I used to be friends with her in the past. I hope it all works out for you! :c

Hm. Having looked at her user profile, where she had a checkmark next to "trades" and "(depends though)" in the journal screencap, she now has an X next to trades. Not sure exactly what is meant by it, but it doesn't have a good feel to it.

This is a Litttlllle uncalled for honestly- it's just one trade, it doesn't mean that she's a completely bad person to do it with, i mean obviously, she is outstanding at getting commissions finished- just more focused on money things at the moment. You don't really know what people are going through in their lives- and im pretty sure that she didn't go on hiatus because of you. Just take a chill and don't sit there trying to ruin someone's reputation just because she was taking extra long to get her half of a trade done.

Ryunwoofie did her half of the trade, and ms.delicious didn't follow through on her end.
Even if no money was exchanged between the two, they both obviously charge for the type of art they were providing.

She basically got something someone would have gladly paid for, for free because she has been putting off her end of the trade for two years.

A month or so sounds reasonable for a delay with personal reasons, but two years is no excuse for anyone to get ripped off.

This isn't ruining her reputation in the slightest, if she works on her business ethic for the future, then this post shouldn't affect her at all.

It'll be a bump in the road she got over.

This is a Litttlllle uncalled for honestly- it's just one trade

The weakest excuse on the planet. If this excuse was currency I'd be living like Donald Trump. For you its ~just one trade~ but for someone else its time lost and since time = money, someone ditching a trade is no different than stiffing someone out of payment.

i mean obviously, she is outstanding at getting commissions finished- just more focused on money things at the moment.

She shouldn't have taken the trade then, if she went into the agreement knowing she couldn't do it because she places her paid work on a higher priority than a trade.

You don't really know what people are going through in their lives

No. No she doesn't, but that doesn't excuse the way she's dodging Ryun, who is actually trying to make it easier for her to just give her SOMETHING to make it a fair trade.

and im pretty sure that she didn't go on hiatus because of you

May I point you to your statement in defense of this artist that you don't really know what people are going through? Or what they are thinking? If someone can make snide and vague journals about a commissioner they're having trouble with, I see it as entirely possible to go on a sudden HIATUS when someone is coming to collect their 'goods' so to speak.

Just take a chill and don't sit there trying to ruin someone's reputation just because she was taking extra long to get her half of a trade done.

Two years dodging a trade? I think the artist is doing the damage themselves, so I wouldn't tell Ryun, who's obviously been more than patient and willing to compromise on the trade to chill.

Now, any other excuses you care to throw out for this artist? I think I just tapped out all of these ones.

ANOTHER one?
Oh man. This is making me scared to trust any artist. First Dip now her.
But, in the past when I commissioned her (I can't remember if I ever paid her or not, first), she would pretty much forget about it, and ignore my PMs.
This is a shame though :/.

I'm not going to go into depth about this, as I usually don't like to get involved in situations like this, but I've had issues with Ms.Delicious' attitude in the past as well, I've noticed that she can be like that sometimes.

Also just to counter what someone previously has said, there have been several times that I've seen her take on additional commissions when already owing previous ones, and blatantly saying something along the lines of "I'll do your commissions when I feel like it". I don't have proof of this, of course, she recently purged her journals, but just adding in my two cents.

Sometimes the things people post on AB can be a bit harsh or exaggerated, but I think issues like this are good to get out in the open. It's not going to ruin someone's reputation, so long as they learn from it and handle the situation as a mature individual should.

Actually even un-paid accounts can edit now - LJ rolled that little feature out recently. :3 The only way you shouldn't be able to edit is if someone replies to you first.

Well why would you say im friends with her? Just making a point sweety- i was linked here by someone - i i've talked to ms.d and she certainly doesn't have an "attitude" as you so call it. Wanting a trade is fine. But what i was getting at was more the personal stuff you were getting into. Like accusing of account hoping, and saying countless times that she has an attitude. you could have worded this in a better way to make it seem like it was a "just business needing to be owed" sort of deal but you didn't-

i dont actually care enough to read all that but i imagine it's a lot of the same boring stuff i'd expect to read so ill just assume so lol

Thing is ive had people skip out on giving me art plenty of times for trades, but you don't see me running off to something like this to fix or force someone to give it to me. Anyone can insinuate things about someone- like saying they have an "attitude" or take comments and make them seem like the person is being an ass about it when they really aren't.
I just honestly think it's pointless to throw such a big fit about it. I've had people skip out on actually paying me the money for art and i've made less of a big deal then all this.
