I have to admit that I took a couple of commissions a few years ago and never made good on them (there are reasons, but really, they don't matter in the long run, do they?). Anyhow, I am in constant contact with one of them, and have made mutually agreeable arrangements with them, but the other has not responded to my last few emails. I do not like having a black mark in my past, but how far do I go to return his money? If he won't write back to me, do I assume he doesn't care?

well if you are trying to contact him and he doesn't reply i see it as more of his problem. How much did he pay you, it might have been just not enough money to him for him to care all to much.

Maybe someone can help you locate that person, so you can get them their money back.

Aaaw, such a cute parrot...
Is he yours?

Anyway, do you know what this person wanted for his/her commission? Maybe make a sketch of it and put it on your homepage with the text that you cannot contact the customer, maybe said customer will see it and contact you. Or at least if they contact you lateron and they claim you stiffed them you can point at the sketch and comment and tell them you at least made an effort but couldn't find them.

Moldrad@gmail.com?
I'm doing a commission for him right now, he's still checking his email, so I dunno what's up with your situation.

Yes, it's 'moldrad' and not moldred.
And thanks! I just wish erasers could be baked, I'm so so bad with Sculpey. xD

I have a lovebird, he is incredibly noisy. He can literally give me a headache, but he is as smart as he is loud so he's still a fun pet to have.

Moldred is notorious for not replying/replying late. Just send him a mail that you'll do his commission when he knows what he wants and maybe he'll get back to you eventually -_-

My lovebird is loud too, but like a baby, if she's screaming it's usually because she wants something, and it's always easy to figure it out.

But the sweet noises she makes at night when I cover her and tell her goodnight make it all worth it. :D

My lovebird sort of fell into my lap, my uncle found him outside at the docks and took him home. No-one came to claim him and my uncle needed to give him away because he has an african gray who would try and bite the lovebird when he came over for attention.

They knew I love birds and had some so they offered him to me, and I couldn't refuse. He's loud but terribly cute and he gets along well with my budgies.

But we digress ;)

Your best is really all you can do. Try every way you can to contact him and if you never get a reply, you'll just have to take comfort in that you did the best you could. Maybe he's just lazy about replying.

Good luck!
