Yo ho! I just wanted to post about some great people I've been working with of late:

Moldred, Streaks (The skunk) and Silverfoxwolf have been three commissioners I've worked with in the past month or so, and they are FABULOUS.
A+ commissioners, I've worked with Moldred three times now, always good with his discriptions and prompt with payment.
Silverfoxwolf commissioned me for 6 drawings, and has been GREAT about it, the process has been fast, and fun.
Streaks commissioned me for two for two of his characters, and they've been GREAT. Fun to work with, and very prompt payment!

And an artist I worked with recent, whos "Warmth" piece I bought, is Wyla. Shes amazeing, she sent the peice out and I recieved it within a week of winning the auction, and she was very nice. Though she undercharges herself. :P

I can't speak for Streaks and Silverfoxwolf, but I totally agree with you about Moldred. You can't find a more patient customer -- and he gives very good descriptions while also allowing you artistic freedom. Couldn't agree with you more. :)

huh. i haven't had anything good to say about moldred, he one a commssion from me and no matter how i tried to get in touch with him no answer so i gave up.

I hate working with Moldrad. He commissions a LOT.. must be rich as hell.. and pays very well but he is HORRIBLE to stay in contact with. I was doing 2 commissions for him in January and I emailed him the final commissions for his approval, to make sure he didn't want anything changed or what not. A month goes by.. no reply. I email him constantly for 6 months and he would not reply to me at ALL. Finally, last week I emailed him stating that I'm done and he has 1 week to finally get in contact with me. If he doesn't, the transaction is closed and final and whether or not I made a mistake or not, I would not correct it at this point as he was causing a bit of a traffic jam on my commissions list. Of course, THEN he replies back and we got it resolved. Also, he bought an auction on Furbid from me a few months ago and never paid.

Ooops... forgot to add this about Moldrad. To be fair to him and tell his side of the story, his mother is having health problems and that is why it was hard to get in contact with him. Still, you can take 5 minutes and check your freaking email within a 6 month period. I've had good experiences with him too in the past.. this was my only bad experience with him.

Haven't had the fortune of coming across the other two, but Moldred is fucking awesome. I'll also give a shout out to J. Krolak and Vermillion (I don't know his Furbid name) while I'm out here. Those two are my favorite commissioners. Give them much love if they hire you. x
