Can't contact an artist....

I have a comission that I won on fubid last October from lilorangedragoness for 10 mood Icons. I haven't been in conact with her since last January, and when I try to send her an email from the ones listed on her website it bounces back saying the account was terminated. She said that she had some kind of computer trouble a bit before I lost contact, and that she had to restart some people's comissions so I think that might have something to do with it. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with her? Or what going on? Thanks!

Yeah, she's been without a computer for quite a while now and isn't expecting a net connection anytime soon. I know she gets online at her library because I've seen her around forums.

Other than her email, I wouldn't know just how you could get in contact with her... She's around Dragon Realms forums occasionally, I'd say that would be your best bet. I'll see if I can alert her through there.

Just checked up on it, she neither has a phone line or the money to afford internet at her house. If she's at least started your mood set, she'll have them individually on a disk next time she gets online. I'll send her a message anyway to be sure. It will probably be a while, but I've never known her to have any kind of trouble with her customers and she normally gets the work done pretty fast. You'll be able to get in contact with her. :)

Thank you! I didn't think she was trying to cheat me out of a commission or anything because I haven't heard any negative things about her or her work, and she was honest about losing her monitor and the art that was on it.

I'm surprised to hear that actually, it sounds out of her character. :O I'm sorry that happened!
I guess no artist is perfect, but I hope she corrects herself on this one.

I think you need to contact the furbid administrator directly about the issue. I think she'd be particularly interested in the fact that the person's contact information (which she is required to provide when she registers and becomes available between buyers and sellers at the end of an auction) isn't legitimate.

I just saw this now. I also commissioned her for 10 mood icons over a year ago. She finally did a picture of my character in apology, promising me icons later... then she never did them. *shrugs* I gave up on it and recently agreed to a trade with someone else for the icons. Orca, she does amazing ones that are slightly similiar in style to lilorangedragoness :)

I don't think you'll be getting them, honestly. :P
