Has anyone been in contact with iatro latley? or know any alternate email addresses that she might have? I am trying to get into contact about her about a commision that is owed to me, but she is not responding to any emails or inquiries in her LJ.

I really dont want to make a post about this just yet, untill i find out if something has happened to her or what.

Well, I know the lease on their apartment recently...ended? Went out? Whatever it is leases do.

She's in the process of moving out [or that's what I hear from her ex-roomates], so she just might not have internet access at the moment. (:

If she hasn't been responding since October, something must be up. I don't know how active she's been online, but her roommate [ravenhowl] was saying that for the couple months preceeding the lease expiring, iatro was hardly home. That might explain her absense from January or so onwards...

But again, I don't know why she hasn't responded to anything you've sent her since October. :/

From everything I've heard she's been awol from the internet, by choice, for at least four months. But what UnsolvedSuicide said is right, their lease just ran out so she's in the process of moving right now.

I don't know, but she joined my exchange community in December and I never heard back from her after I sent her assignment. I tried to contact her repeatedly and she never sent me so much as a "Whoops, sorry" email. :\ I don't know what actually happened, but I banned her for lack of contact.

I was wondering why that name sounded so damn familiar, and then when going to their profile saw NeoGeen's art and realized that was why. I wish I could be of more help, though. Sucks to hear about the lease situation, though.

Brandon didn't take the router until MARCH 15th. Internet was freely available at the apartment until then. Brandon didn't up and run, he moved out because the lease was up and he owned the router.

She didn't start disappearing and skipping out on rent payments for long periods of time until late November and December. I don't remember her mentioning any commissions, but she had never been late with anything previously. She used to be active in several exchange communities and usually got them in on time. Then in October or so she got sick, lost her job (because of it), caused drama and took her shit and ran. But she still had access to the internet via her boyfriend Jade's house, and she constantly carries her art supplies with her. My guess is she was fully aware of your commission and chose to ignore it.

Unless your commission was digital. Then it's sort of understandable because her computer died awhile back. Nauta tried to fix it but didn't succeed. She was using and extra laptop that belonged to my boyfriend but then the hard drive went bad on it.

Anyway... theres tons of reasons why it didn't get done, but she had access to the internet and there's no excuse for her not contacting you. She's perfectly fine, just sans internet right now, but she didn't lose internet access at her previous apartment until March 15th and she still has methods to use the internet by going to her boyfriend Jade's house.

It's amazing the load of bullshit you just eat up and take as fact.

The person who supplied the internet (me) didn't "up and run". I was at that hellhole up until two weeks before the lease was up, in which I had to move out since that's when the lease on my new apartment started (March 15th). She had internet access the entire fucking time; she was just never home because she couldn't bring her new boytoy home to play with because the rest of us thought he was a fat douchebag.

P.S. She didn't pay for February or March's internet access or February's electric. I took my name off the electric and cancelled the cable bill, that was under my name mind you, because I wasn't living there anymore. She had internet access at Jade's house.

She's the one who "up and ran", leaving trash bags from her pit of a room for the rest of us to throw and doing a half-assed job of cleaning what was hers and taking variuos things of our roommates that belong to them and that they purchased.

But you go right ahead and believe what you want. The rest of us are very much so done with that whole lot.

I commisioned a badge from her back in june of last year. it was when she was offering up her "durr" badges. I had paid through a paypal transaction, which she borrowed her roomates account. She was really good about contacting me up untill October, when she kind of dropped off the face of the planet. I knew she was really sick around then, but she did have several months before that to where she coudl have gotten it done. *sigh*

it was a traditional badge, and the only thing i ever saw for it was a very low resolution scan of a sketch. she claims she finished it and sent it to me twice, but i never did get to see a scan of the final product.

I noticed that she was able to get her artwork in for her exchanges, as well as offer up free sketches for her friends...i just cant understand why she dropped contact with me over a simple 7 dollar badge. I told her multiple times that i LOVE the artwork for it too. oh well.

Iatro is incredibly bad about actually sending out the badges she makes. She had one for Evol, one for Likeshine, one for Rapytur (now Kiralea) and just hung them up in her room and never sent them out.

She does do fantastic artwork and its a shame she's so unreliable. If she claimed she sent it to you a couple times I'm fairly sure you'll never get it. I used to work alongside her with artwork and saw all the stuff she did up until around October when her and I had a huge falling out and stopped talking. The only durr badges I ever saw from her was one for herself and one for Banrai.

btw, I was the roommate whose Paypal you sent it to, but I transferred that money out almost as soon as I got it in there since she needed it to pay rent.
