This person is selling address labels on ebay with a TON of art that I think was probably taken off of Deviant Art (I already notified Lynda-chan and Selina Fenech). The auction ends today but I know she/he relists the stuff so you should go after them anyway if you recognize your art.

Please do not email the person yourself if none of the art is yours. That only results in flame wars. If you recognize something notify the artist. In fact if the art is yours it doesn't really help to send nasty letters. Just go over their head to ebay and get their auctions canceled (over and over if you
have to).

You can use this form in order to report a violation if you are the © owner.

You can also join the Vero Program if you are th intellectual property rights owner. I think you have to fax in a form about the violation. This is probably the best method for scaring people into stopping.

...not that I want to discourage the small copyright holders from claiming their pound of flesh, but, this persons's ripped off a lot of major trademarks and copyrights too- and to boot, she's profiting from it.

Cripes, notify the copyright holders on nany one of a number of the images (Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortkcake, etc.), and thi9s person I would think would get contacted by at least one or two angry think-tanks of lawyers.

I suppose I could look up contacts for those too.

If they get flooded with lots of reports maybe it will scare them.

Oh, there's a ton of Disney images in there too. Disney has major issues about letting people use their character images, so I suggest giving the Mouse a headsup.

My Little Pony too, and I'm not sure, but I think I saw some Stephanie Pui-Mun Law in there... wouldn't hurt to contact her too, just to be sure. www.shadowscapes.com

I recognize a few of the arts, but not many of the artists, so copy/pasted teh message over to Epilogue where those more fluent then I will hopefully be able to ID more.
