Mod Post: DreamWidth Clarifications!

It has come to my attention that people are posting to the queue of our mirror community over on DreamWidth! Eep!

Please remember that DreamWidth is a mirror site only, the mods of A_B can't juggle two different queues for approval (not only that, our DW mirror does not have the traffic the LJ does). So please make sure to send your posts to the LiveJournal site! Its entirely possible to crossover between, or use G+, FB, or even Twitter to post to us, if you don't have an LJ account.

Aside from turning off membership, not really and that's unfortunate as its okay if people want to join the mirror, they just can't post TO the mirror!

But for our sanity, I turned it off anyhow, this is just a note for any and all future members and posters.

Question!
How does one know if a post has been approved/rejected? Are there any notifications or do you basically just wait and see if it pops up?

You should get a notice when a post is rejected but I don't believe you get one if it's approved, so you just have to keep an eye out.

That said, I'm not entirely sure how it works with non-LJ accounts as far as rejections go.

The notice is always titled "Moderated submission notification" and the sender is lj_notify. It does not say that it comes from artists_beware until you open the email.
