contact your commissioners. some people are happy to wait as long as they get regular updates, some will want refunds. do what it takes to make them happy anf get through your backlog. This is advice from someone who had a suit maker vanish for years and then come back to try to make things right. I was willing to wait on my siit as long as she showed that she was at least working on her queue.
Try setting up a mailing list do that you can send emails to all customars at once and show all progress even ig it isn't their suit at least they can see that you are working on your owed work. This way they are less likely to feel like you are trying to scam. I would even tell everyone's refund status in that email. Being honest and open with your commissioners is best.
