Explain: Was going to a furmeet Sunday September 15 and I needed a suit, I had just recently started talking to SweetNightmare again as a friend and she gave me a few excuses that made me feel sorry/bad for her (like I did in 2012) and decided to make her an offer on a blue fox partial (she sent me a picture of it when I was on mobile skype and I no longer have it and I cannot find it anywhere in her gallery now) http://i.imgur.com/mqmnln6.png as soon as she accepted the offer and me thinking she had changed I sent her the payment http://i.imgur.com/A6xkSBW.png once the payment was sent I got suspicious of her new paypal name and questioned her here http://i.imgur.com/dyBS6JC.png and as she promised she would have it out the next day. As I started reading into her FurAffinity Journals I started seeing people complaining about not getting commissioned items and no updates and being ignored which shortly after I had sent the payment she was 'busy' it played out just as my first transaction with her did. I asked for a refund she didn't respond so I opened a claim with paypal (claim conversation can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/yAdzo) So she claimed the suit had been shipped as she usually does, So I dropped the claim on her we had a conversation http://i.imgur.com/UTdr4Hu.png then she showed me how her account was over-drafted (because she was trying to put my money instantly into her account and paypal had it on hold, not only that but I noticed she was doing it to other peoples money too, I blocked out named of others. She sent me this screenshot herself) http://i.imgur.com/UgtffM6.jpg after seeing that I asked for the tracking number her excuses and here came her excuses http://i.imgur.com/By7A9MD.png , http://i.imgur.com/FVquXsa.png she ended up disappearing without giving me a tracking number so I felt it was in my best interest to re-call paypal and open back up the case, she had 10 days to respond with a tracking number which she did not and failed to post ANYTHING in the resolution center and didn't send me any further messages via resolution center and I didn't get anything from her on skype, if she sent me anything I never got it. In the end because NOTHING was heard from the seller (her) paypal closed the case in my favour.

Beware, SweetNightmare even in 2013 gives many excuses. I still think she's a nice person but I suggest not doing business with her, she's not credible when it comes to business and honest when it comes to shipping. If you want to do business with her please beware of how she acts when it comes to money.

I am curious about what the fox looked like, because I bought a used blue fox head from her in July 2013. The head arrived, and I didn't have much probs with her, though. My only prob is the head she showed me pictures of, and the one she sent me were a bit different.

I had to get on her for info on if it was shipped or not, especially after I saw posts here. After a few days she got me tracking info, and the head thankfully showed up (lesson, of course, is always look here before you buy).

Maybe. The differences aren't huge and significant, so it isn't a huge deal. But I know a couple of those pix can't be the same head. Anyway, not really a big deal, but with the mention of 'blue fox', I thought I'd mention mine...

I realize this is slightly off-topic, but there's something I've been confused about since the last Sweetnightmare post and I wanted to get a bit of clarification.

How common is it for an artist to have multiple Paypal emails for clients to send payments to? One of the things that caught my attention in the last post was that clients who came forward had paid to multiple different accounts under SN's instruction, and three of those emails were listed under other people's names.

I know a lot of artists will have a personal account and one set up strictly for business, under say a business name and such... But it seemed like she was using other people's accounts to conduct her transactions, for the most part. Is this a common practice, or am I right in feeling like that comes off as really shady and raising big red flags?

Using someone else's Paypal account is shady, imo. Unless someone is from a country where Paypal is not supported, there should be no reason why a person is using someone else's Paypal. Especially when we're talking hundreds of dollars per transaction. It also lists the income under that person's account, which may be easier to avoid taxes.

A lot of them went to different people and different names, so I do not believe that was going on, sadly.

Yeah that's apparently not the only paypal she has, I did tell them when I called and they ruled in my favour to check her account activity but they told me 'they'd investigate her' but 'they couldn't tell me any information found in the investigation' >.<;;

Indeed - I used to use a seperate email address when I was selling actively on eBay for my Paypal - but it always links to the same name, as far as I know.

I suspect PayPal has locked down her main account due to prior/ongoing disputes, so she's distributing customers among other accounts. If so, that'd be a violation of PayPal's ToS.

This is what has me concerned. It's less about the emails (though that does clear up some of my questions, as I wasn't aware of the multiple-emails-per-account thing)account and more about the fact that from all of the screencaps and comments in the last post... From what I could see, none of the accounts were even under her own name, save for the one under her fursona's name. Two of the emails were under a man's name, and another was under the name of another woman.

I know she's used the accounts of "friends" on various sites after being banned for shady behavior (FurBuy, for example), so if it turns out that this is what she's doing with the PayPal accounts-- and perhaps why she has an account under her fursona's name instead of her own?-- that would be a MAJOR red flag and, like you said, a violation of Paypal's TOS.

I wouldn't be doing business with anyone pulling that, and I really don't think anyone else ought to either.

Yeah, this is sort of a pressing concern. I know you can have multiple emails for PayPal, but some of these PayPals belonged to her friends, not her business. How can someone keep track of their business this way?

The reason why is because I had alot of problems with paypal, so I used consenting friends paypals when I had the chance. Alot of it had to do with not having a bank account. They would limit me alot on what I can do. And as for Ryans paypals (my ex) he would have 2 or three for different reasons (like one was for commissions, one was to make purchases etc)

In summary; paypals have not been shut down or anything of the like, but I have had alot of problems with them. (due to not having a bank, a card to connect to it at first, etc)

While I think the dogpiling is a little much (And we're trying to keep that to a minimum), I don't see any real -hating- going on. If you are being harassed however please do not hesitate to tell the mods here on AB. We don't condone that sort of thing here.

However, folks disagreeing with you, asking you important questions, or explaining their upset is not 'hating'. They have pretty legitimate reasons to be angry with you.

The best you can do is trying to fix the situation, which is sounds like you are - so keep that up.
