Commission was purchased August 22nd, with a completion date of 3 days from payment, which was made the 24th. Asked for an update and was told 'can you wait a few days?'. Asked again after 9 days and note was read and ignored. My last note has been unread since. On dA you can view the notes through the notes hub without clicking in to them. They may have read it that way. I also emailed the paypal email and left a shout. Both unanswered. I was going to open a Paypal case but missed the deadline by 2 days.

Looking on their page there are multiple people leaving shouts asking for updates.

You haven't missed paypal's deadline. They upped it recently. I believe to 180 days.

It's not in effect yet, but sometimes if you call their support instead of the automated ones they'll make exceptions, especially so close to the date.

I love this community for moments like this, when clients get pissy with me for not getting them a first mock-up within 24 hrs. Good grief. Have some effing patience. *Hugs* seconding the paypal. :(

I don't understand what the first part of your comment has to do with this, sorry.
But I cannot open a case, it's passed the date and I don't use a credit card so I cannot go through them.

Is it just me? Or does it seem like Forthemorrow missed something? The person posting this AB is the commissioner, right? Not the artist. It isnt the client that this beware is about.

That's what I thought, but did not want to say some (or accuse) if it was not the case.

Odd, considering there's a good gap between the passed deadline and me finally asking for an update. I was not rushing or 'getting pissy' with them. It's a bit upsetting to even have the thought that I'm in the wrong here, even if that is not what they meant.

A small update, a few others have replied to my shout about wait times. Luckily one was able to open a case.
