Christmas!
If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams, as long as it's relevant!
There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.
To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:
1. Name of the person you recommend:
2. Link to person's website or art page:
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person:
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!):
If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.
Trades are just as welcome as paid transactions. But try not to post for friends (or yourself) who are looking to be commissioned. If customers are what they/you seek,
teenycom,
artsales or
artcommissions is for them!

I commissioned Geckozen for one of their colored sketch commissions of a character i had won in an auction. As usual their turn around time was very quick (less than a week) and they were polite and a pleasure to work with. This artist not only has a fun and unique style, a comic that is a blast to follow and read but I've commissioned them 3 times now and have had nothing but great experience.
This time around I commissioned this lovely piece.

I paid with a tip because I feel they are undercharding themselves for these sketches.

4. Details: I won a raffle on their page but I think the experience is worth posting here because they were great to work with. They emailed me promptly and kept in touch. They answered my questions about file size and allowed me to post on a different art site.

4. Details: Tod runs donation drives (http://thestorydragon.com/?tag=icon-day) where you can get a free icon, but tipping gets you a second icon. I ended up a with a third icon randomly as a prize. Tod was very prompt when answering emails and was always very polite. You can see the icons that I received in my previous comments and this comment (not the seal boobs one!).

4. She posted up "100 bust slots" and I grabbed the first slot. I was happy to as well, since I can't really afford her full body pics, but love her style. :) She finished like, the next day. It was super awesome.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14892540/ (nsfw for female nips!) She hasn't filled up all 100 slots yet, but she decided to put the empty slots on hold until after Christmas so she can be sure to finish what she has before the holidays.

4. I was super surprised this artist not only does beautiful work, but also charges after it's completed. It took about a week for them to finish my art and I was blown away. I commissioned a bust and the concept was hair turning into water and a sash of stars. Here is the finished product:
http://s1082.photobucket.com/user/Leptailurus/media/artic__zps6cd28c03.jpg.html
I couldn't be more pleased and I kind of want to buy another. I took them another week and a half to email me the full resolution, which is massive. The price was very reasonable for what I got and I'm super happy I commissioned them!

4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!): I bought 8 chibis from them and they were able to crank them out super fast. They were amazing to work with, really kind and willing to make changes if I needed any. They are just a great person overall.

Date: 2014-12-05 10:13 pm (UTC)1. I've seen them post a lot in A_B and other comms. During the latest FA fiasco as FD2(or AB can't remember) a post was made to help artists get info out for commissions and I found Kasune's gallery.
2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kasune/
3. Commissioned in early November, received finished commission 12/5/14
4. This was my first time commissioning in years and only the second time I've commissioned an artists... First person I ever commissioned was Starfinder and I was too nervous to commission since. I wanted a my pony OC and Kasunes style was too cute to pass up. Although I made a mistake at the beginning of the transaction Kasune was very nice and forgiving. Journals kept me up to date and I am extremely happy with the art! Very wonderful artist ^^

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: Nov. 11th, 2014
4. Details: This was an in-stream commission which Pixii put together out of refs that were rather imperfect to say the least. But they managed to not only do a beautiful job with getting down the visual details of my character, they did a fantastic job of really capturing the spirit of my idea while going on a very brief description.

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: Sept. 8th, 2014 to Nov. 25th, 2014
4. Details: Jackie is a fantastic artist to work with. She is polite and professional, and the amount of detail she put into the commission, relative to the price she asked for, was simply incredible. She pays close attention to details of posing and the desired mood of the piece, and she produced an absolutely gorgeous piece.

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: Oct. 18th, 2014 to December 2nd, 2014
4. Details: This was a colored sketch commission, and yet Incorgnito put an incredible amount of work and detail into the piece, relative to the commission level. I asked for a number of details that were not included in my references, and Incorgnito was not only willing to include them, they really nailed the look I wanted. They had a professional attitude throughout, and they are a joy to commission.

3. Time: Contacted 17th Oct, finished art received 17th nov.
4. Details: I commissioned Capree for a coloured sketch commission. She was polite and efficient throughout and despite the character being a little unusual, did an awesome job on him. I would definitely commission this artist again.

3. Time: Contacted 26th Nov, icons received by 2nd Dec.
4. Details: I commissioned Coffeebuns for two animated icons. She was very quick and polite, I was a little disorganised with references on one of the characters but she took it in her stride. Also when I asked for a correction, she did a couple of versions so I could pick the one I preferred. I wish I had some more cute female characters to commission some more of these icons!

3. Late November to early December
4. I got one of their end-year commissions, everything was prompt, professional and very open to feedback, and the artist went the extra mile of purchasing new fabric to get the best quality product, which I'm super happy about!
