In short I want to purchase something but the seller has an issue where they claim "...problems with my credit card that dosent acept paypal system." and suggest I transfer the money if that's okay with me. I wanted to ask anyone here if there are alternatives to paypal I could suggest to the seller that is safe for me to use as well.
Thanks.

Square.com/cash ? Its meant for personal transactions and not business transactions, but its a pretty reliable alternate system. It uses debit cards to make payments and deposits, however.

If you have a square reader for your smartphone, you can also take credit card transactions over the phone. The charge for non-card-present transactions is slightly higher though.

There's Dwolla, which (I think) does not require the recipient to sign up for their service, and delivers transactions via email.

Wish more artists/vendors would accept Bitcoin...

In addition to the ideas above, I like the idea of Amazon e-gift cards, if you can use the funds on stuff instead of needing it directly (especially helpful if one of you isn't in the States and can't use the above options). If they say their card doesn't work on Amazon either, well, I don't know what to say.

The only issue with payment-in-gift-cards is that if there's a problem later down the line there isnt an option for the purchaser to ask their credit card company for a chargeback since that purchase was technically legit, and there isn't a direct financial relationship with the seller - there isn't any way to get the money back except for the goodwill of the seller.

I usually recommend google wallet.

I'd go with a money order as an alternative to paypal. It is simple, easy to cash and a safe, and recognized way to be paid! :)

In addition to what everyone else said... There's Payza (previously called AlertPay), which is basically like Paypal except I think there's less restrictions. (For instance, back when it was called AlertPay, I know that they didn't any rule against buying/selling adult items/art like Paypal does.)

I've had very negative experiences with AlertPay. It wouldn't allow me to add, send, or withdraw funds with my U.S. bank account. I initially got the account since I had an artist I commissioned switch to it due to being dissatisfied with PayPal, and could not send her any funds for commissions, so we had to work out a different set up of payment.

That sounds like a glitch from when it was young. I would assume that they've worked bugs like that out now, or it wouldn't have gone anywhere, but the only way to know would be for someone to use it. Either way, wouldn't hurt for the OP to try if need be. I mean, you describe it as a "very negative experience", but nothing bad came of it other than a bit of wasted time trying to figure it out, right? So worth a shot, I guess.
