WHERE: https://www.furbuy.com/auctions/1073512.html
Screencap incase it disappears after 60 days, I autobought the auction: http://tinypic.com/r/bi6yl4/8

WHAT: A cut and hinged, decked out resin shark fursuit blank.

WHEN: Auction was won June 28th, they contacted me the same day and I paid then, have not received product since.

PROOF: Initial contact: http://tinypic.com/r/ic2xc1/8
My payment: http://tinypic.com/r/2cxybnt/8
Proof of them not shipping it out, yet providing a tracking number: http://tinypic.com/r/tahrpz/8 and http://tinypic.com/r/2num0yd/8
Me asking them to respond to my e-mails: http://tinypic.com/r/2m7jmsm/8
Proof they're ignoring me: http://tinypic.com/r/idas81/8

EXPLAIN: This really stumps me. They claim they were going to ship it out and still haven't, even got the tracking and everything, just have to drop off the package. Beware very well warranted.

I HAVE filed a PayPal claim on this as of 7/11/2015.

Have you tried sending a new email, instead of a reply to the old one? Only reason I ask is because the last time I bought a commission, gmail moved the thread out of inbox and stopped notifying me about new replies.

Even if that's the case, notification of a paypal charge-back might be motivation to get some pep in their step and take care of this properly.

even if they do respond now, keep the dispute open until you get the item in hand. otherwise, once you close it, you usually cant re-open it from what i've been told

edit: hit post prematurely, added last few words

Sarah's been posting here long enough i'd hope she knows better then that lol but that is a very good point to mention regardless;

Don't close the dispute until you have the item in it's original description in your hands.

As a note, the thumbnails tinypic displays under the OP's images can be NSFW.

I think it's wise that you filed a Paypal claim, this is just too weird :/
Be sure to leave feedback on their furbuy account too.

They should be notified if someone disputes one of their transactions. So if they've not yet been made aware, then they ought be soon.

Not sure what this person is thinking :/

Yeah I'd escalate it to a claim. The tracking says it's a 2 day delivery, so if you escalate it they still have time to actually put it in the mail. If it reads successfully delivered by the time Paypal reviews the claim, then the claim will go in their favor. If not, then you get a refund. If it gets there, then you can just pay them back if you wish. Or cancel the order if they still don't put the thing in the mail.

Continue the claim. Do not close it or resolve it until the item is at your house.

Continue the claim, and upload a screenshot of the tracking number not moving, that should be everything you need.

I saw in the screenshot there was an option to upload files, so I figured right below that was a upload button. I've never had an issue like this so i'm not sure what the dispute layout looks like. But if there's a little box to put in text, maybe state it on there as well?

I see that now, so I agree with your guess that she probably put the bogus tracking number in there to see if Paypal would automatically close the dispute. Good on you for continuing the claim, keep us updated.

Call Paypal. it's far more helpful than anything else. If Paypal reviews it and sees that despite the tracking, it doesn't read as "delivered" in a certain time frame then it will side in your favor.

Haha, me too, but in this instance calling the company involved helps tremendously. Especially since you can alert them asap that the seller is trying to sneak one by them.

A refund is adequate at this point, at least they're not asking you to drop the claim. Though if their partner can supposedly not access the workshop, how did they reply to the claim with a bogus tracking number, I wonder.

Thank goodness Paypal saw through their attempt at a ruse, glad you got your money back. It's a shame this seller decided to let this happen instead of doing what they were contracted to, but now you can use that on someone who'll hopefully be better about it.

It's only resolved because Paypal got involved. Otherwise you'd still be waiting for an e-mail update of things never to arrive.
Though to play devil's advocate they probably didn't ship it out due to the chargeback... or were hoping you'd close it and they could run off / not follow through and you'd be SOL.

Well you do have your money back, but not on part of the artist. We could consider it resolved, but keep the beware tag up if you're up for that.

Do let us know if they contact you about the dispute though. It's bizarre that they'd pay for a click and ship tag, but never put it in the mail.
