[identity profile] celestinaketzia.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] artists_beware
It's August!

If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams, as long as it's relevant!

There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.

To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:

1. Name of the person you recommend:
2. Link to person's website or art page:
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person:
4. Details
(Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!):

If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.

Trades are just as welcome as paid transactions. But try not to post for friends (or yourself) who are looking to be commissioned. If customers are what they/you seek, [livejournal.com profile] teenycom, [livejournal.com profile] artsales or [livejournal.com profile] artcommissions is for them!

1. Name of the person you recommend: BattleFerrets
2. Link to person's website or art page: https://www.weasyl.com/~battleferrets | http://www.furaffinity.net/user/battleferrets
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: Early April 2014 (Like I said, I'm behind...)
4. Details: BattleFerrets was offering a commission in exchange for buying their partner the game Starbound on Steam. I offered, as I had some spare money at the time, and sent the game over. I sent my commission details (one of my male characters) and very soon had the art! I can't find my commission detail emails, so it may have been mostly via notes or Tumblr, but turn-around time was more than acceptable. The commission was for my character, Adian, who I had only really previously sketched and had started putting together his avatar in Second Life. I love how he was portrayed. (Semi-NSFW? He's got his pants open, being a tease, but nothing showing: https://www.weasyl.com/submission/570000/fine-estate)

4. Details: I saw an adoptable egg I liked, and it was a "pick your species type" of egg. I sent my payment, and the description, and, again, very soon had a beautiful piece of art with a character who I need to get to writing. I always like to see artists renditions of unicorn/wolf mixes, and I was super happy with the results here. (Clean, but non-detailed/Barbie-doll nudity: https://www.weasyl.com/submission/598537/adoptable-paradise)
