WHO: Linka/Linkaton-furaito

WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/linkaton-furaito/

WHAT: Partial refund (Difference of basic template and subscription price, $35)

WHEN: Template subscription paid for on January 4th, request for refund and reminder notes in May and July

PROOF: Proof of payment: http://i.imgur.com/VsKQbIN.png
First note requesting refund and response: http://i.imgur.com/gZR2wct.png
Reminder and response: http://i.imgur.com/XhH4Vdu.png

EXPLAIN: I bought Linkaton's lineart template subscription on early January. It was promised that there would be monthly updates with at least 7 new items in each update. (Details seen here: http://i.imgur.com/Y30fkhM.png) There were a couple of journals regarding the template being delayed for personal issues and I was sympathetic. After a while, however, it got to a point that I felt I had paid for something I was not receiving and may not, as they had suggested in journals they may have bitten off more than they could chew with their queue being the size it was. After several months with no updates, I asked for a partial refund. They apologized, said I would have my refund, but that it may take some time to get back to me. (May 15th/16th) I waited for a bit, noticed they had been posting several notices for commissions, a MYO adoptable event, various streams, etc. I noted them again only to receive yet another noncommittal response. I'm unsure of how else to proceed, as I've been told by others that they're also awaiting things from this person (some back from 2013) and I'd really just like to get this taken care of.

EDIT: I received my refund. This can be marked as resolved.

Howdy! The artist's email was left uncensored in the Paypal cap. Please censor that for us. Thanks!

I had business with Linka as well.
While they were friends of mine I do have to say his business professionalism is horrible.
It took me constantly asking for my commission for months to get results. I had to remind him almost daily to the point I felt I was being annoying.
But in the end after a week or so he got it done. Now, I was very satisfied with the results, but not the months waiting.
I have seen where Linka will take on multiple commissions and get so overwhelmed by them.
Honestly, I love Linka as a friend, but he needs better handling with commissions. Perhaps a log or something. I have never seen a "waiting" list of his.

I say this in hopes he understands to get better rather then see this as an attack.

It is very sad but I know he does get very overwhelmed by commissions.
What I would suggest for Linka is to back off commissions and just complete his log.
Then start a list and go from there at the time and date they ordered and how much paid.
But I know drawing is Linka's income I believe (not giving an excuse I am just saying)

I do enjoy their style, but I'm definitely glad I didn't spend the money on the base sub - I'd been considering buying it back when it first came out, but saw that they kept delaying the monthly releases for it. :/

I'm actually still waiting on auction extras that I unlocked for an adopt of theirs from way back in... I want to say August of 2013. I noted them about it but was never responded to. I may message them again and see. I spent $175 to AB a particular design because they assured me that the AB included the tier rewards [a chibi of the dragon form + a fullbody of my guy using his elements], and that's not an amount I'd ever spend otherwise - 3 pieces total seemed fair, but just for the design? Not so much. :/

Oh no :( I hate when I see artist I really like on here, really disappointed to hear some stuff goes back to even 2013.
I really hope they get there stuff together and this all gets resolved. They were really fast and great with my commission from them last year. Really hope they can get this all fixed :(

"It hasn't been enough to garner as 'savings' due to friends wanting to hang out."
... Seriously? If you have money to hang out with friends, especially at conventions, you have money to refund $35. You don't get to call hanging out with friends "living expenses", as saying that money isn't /savings/ implies.

Hi guys, I made an account and I wanted to inform yes I informed/refunded Almond not too long ago today. I had been having issues with my mental health and coping with the loss of family members that it almost slipped from memory.

I did refund and Almond can confirm this. Again I apologize I won't take this as an attack but I will learn from it and make sure this doesn't happen again.
