Help please?

I commissioned SpazzyKoneko for a dangly as a gift for a friend and paid upfront for it. This was a little more than two months ago and seems to have cut off all contact ever since.

I've tried to contact her thru several venues (emails, notes, etc) with no response - and have heard from acquaintances of mine that she has been spotted as recently a week ago.

Now,I know she's probably a really good person, and rather talented as well. First, I hope she's ok; secondly, I hope that if someone knows her might ask her, on my behalf, not to forget about the commission since it was a b-day gift for a friend.

I know personally that sometimes she does take a while and is hard to contact but that just seems to be because she is rarely online. Did you tell her it needed to be done by a certain date? I have heard nothing but good things if you give her a deadline.


She took a while to get to mine but it was absolutly amazing when I got it, well worth the wait. I wish you the best, I know that she is a good person, like you said. Hopefully you can get a hold of her in time.

Apparently she's been MIA for a while. I have a friend who's good friends with her that says she hasn't been around in over a month. She also owes commissions to him and his friend. Im assuming that something came up in that case, he says he can leave a message on her phone about it as a friendly poke.

Add Terry "Beowulf" Kennedy to the list of scammer artists. He'll take your money, leave you hanging for months at a time with not a clue of wtf he's up to, and even at best, he may sling you a very low rez version of a pic that looks NOTHING like what you had agreed upon when you sent him the payment.

As if that's not bad enough, he will also turn around and post the pic against your wishes on his journals for the freeloaders to oggle at (probably to entice the next sucker to walk into his trap). When you ask him to at least keep it off the net for a while (I mean, shouldn't you get SOMETHING to show for the money you spent?), his reply is, and I quote: "I own it, I like it, I'll post it, fuck you.".

To him, you are nothing more than a sucker that paid him to promote himself on his journals without even a decent digital pic to show for the expense. The guy is seriously full of himself, and thinks that he can commit open fraud and theft against people.

Word of advice for people who commission: Give the artist no more than 30 days to complete the pic (barring unforeseen catastrophes and emergencies, of course). A whole month should be PLENTY of time for them to get off their asses and get the job done. If they fart around too long or leave you in the dark for that period of time, file a complaint with PayPal on Day 30 and try to get your money back, because one day longer puts it out of their jurisdiction.

This is going to be MY personal policy from now on. Perhaps if enough people make it their's, the scammers will be outed & routed a lot more often.

Are you a member of the community already? If so, you can post a new thread in the community - but! cuz there's a but, your entry must first be approved by the moderators before its greenlighted and shown made public.
