Hey does anybody have Bushycats e-mail or anyway to contact her? I paid in advance for a pair of fox ears back at MFM 2008 and never got them. She was supposed to mail them but it has been over a month now. I've tried the e-mail address on her website twice now and still no answer.

Yes I have had dealings with her my post ended up multiple pages at 160+ Comments all about her and the people she screwed over

Can I ask if the images in your original post have been reuploaded somewhere else? The links are broken and I'm curious to compare your ref sheet to her finished product. If they're removed for a reason that's cool.

Wow, Sinabu I read the link you posted. I kinda got the impression she was rude but I was not expecting that level of nastiness. Very unprofessional.

I kinda got a bit ticked at her when I was purchasing my ears and tail. I was standing there talking to her about different tails and such (I had said that I would buy one) and nobody else was up there. She responded with an abrupt "Well, if you want one, you're going to have to let me know now!" like I was some dumb oaf standing there wasting her precious time.

Later when I was giving her my information for mailing the ears, I spelled out the name of my street, because believe it or not I have had people misspell "Davies" before. She snapped "I can spell!"

I figured she was just a bit rude, I wasn't expecting her to be that rude and unprofessional.

Yeah im sorry you had to deal with her.. Ive heard nothing good.. I finally had to contact the con she was at that i purchased art from her at and they threatened to not let her back.. She came through in the end but as you can read it was nothing like what was paid for and was very shodddy work compared to her other stuff.

I do hope that you get the item you paid for in the end, but maybe for next time pay attention to those rudeness-red flags as a sign of trouble and someone not worth supporting.

Now devils advocate is if the person behind the table was having a bad day - but in that case if you're selling behind a table and snap on someone, its a matter of shaking it off, apologising and explaining that to the customer.

I'd never heard of this person until all the posts about her popped up and it seems few and far between have something nice to say sadly.

I do hope it works out for you whether ears or a refund.

Hi, I've got Bushycat's e-mail. I'll send you an lj-message with the addy. I believe that Bushycat had some health issues which delayed her from sending out commissions and such, or she may have just forgot. All I can say is that I commissioned her for a badge and artwork in the past, and both times she's mailed the items to me. I had to wait quite awhile for them but Bushycat made sure that I got every item that I paid for ^.^

took me 9 months to get a simple commission that shouldn't have taken 24 hours. not only that but you can tell her heart wasn't in it. She is a definite beware and has been posted on here several times before. Make sure you don't message her more than Once a month or you may never see them from what i have been told.

I remember getting my tiger tail from her back in 2001 (it was already made), so I never had an experience with her doing a commission. If all these stories about not doing commissions is true, I am surprised she still shows up at conventions without being harassed by people wanting their stuff.

I hate to say this but I wouldn't hold your breath on this one, we've had so many people come in with the same or similar stories about her that her reputation is that she's a particularly rude artist that takes money but often doesn't give anything back except abuse.

Don't try to bug her too much because then she'll juts get rude to you and push you to the bottom of the cue.
