Fursuitmaker never answers

Hi.
I was wondering if any of u know Jaxthebat?
I ordered a fursuit from him a long time ago, and i have payed him the whole stuff. All he need to do is to finish it and send.
But, every time i manage to get my paws on him, he just say it's soon done and he will send pics soon. he's been saying that for almost 8 months, and 2 months ago, i stopped receaving any messages from him.
So, does anyone know a way to talk to him and make him finish my suit?

I've heard a few bad things about Jax, a friend of mine waited... I think upwards of two y ears to get their suit and by the time he got it to them it was WAYYYY after the deadline for it so they couldn't even use it anyway! D:

Jax has been on here MANY MANY MANY times. I don't know if they ever respond. Search through this community for "Jax" and you might find some contact info.

I was -told- that Jax is supposedly trying to get the rest of most of his commissions done by Halloween, but seeing as it's getting a little close, I'm not sure about that at this point.

I have never personally done business with Jax, but everything I've heard everywhere basically is that he's not am outright rip-off artist, he will eventually get you your suit... but be prepared for a VERY long wait! He is not terribly professional in the way he does his art, he treats it more like a hobby.

Wish I had some advice to offer you, but I really don't. Good luck, I guess.

I have a friend that has been waiting for something along the line of 3 years on just some simple all black hand and footpaws from Jax and was told multiple times that they would be done soon or had been sent out then told later that they where almost finished again. I wish you the best of luck.

Sadly, I've heard similar things about him from others- he overbooks himself a lot and struggles to make deadlines.
I always get suspicious when people say it's done, but then refuse to send pictures. But I don't think he is a scam artist, you WILL eventually get your suit from what I've seen.

I commissioned/partially traded with Jax for a suit in 2004. After a lot of worry and emails, I finally got it three years later in 2007. I couldn't be refunded either, as my payment had already been spent/used. It's a massive shame that Jax has been mentioned here so many times, since he's so talented with what he does, and I would love to see more suits from him.

I just hope he can finish his to-do list soon and take stress off of both himself and his commissioners. It really sucks when something that's supposed to be fun becomes a chore, as commissions can become when they build up.

I *just* got done having almost the *exact* same problem with him.

Finally I freaked out, and he said he would seriously send pictures and the head out in the mail. Never did.

I finally received the head AT AnthroCon, after bugging the hotel staff 3 times if they had a package for me ( when it was supposed to be done and in my paws a month before the con ).

BTW: The head looked very nice, and I've only worn it 5 times due to the right eye is so messed up, I have to tilt my head because I can only look out the left, and thats even hard to see through. I also JUST noticed, some pieces are coming off. I would complain to him, but he doesn't respond or care, by the way he treated me.

Okay, so. I'm seeing a lot of misinformation flying around, and a very impatient (and annoying) motherfucker who CLEARLY didn't get my note on this subject LAST MONTH.

Long and short of it, JAX IS CATCHING UP. It is a slow process, because the backlog on orders is massive and wholly intimidating--her own fault entirely for taking so many on at once, YES, but shit happens. I am -personally- helping her get through these, and prod Jax to stop slacking off and get shit done (no easy task, lemme tell you).

Because of trying to catch up on everything, Jax hasn't really been online much at all, so there's the reason for a lack of communication. And as for Furfright? That was a treat to herself, and god fucking forbid someone does THAT every so often.

AND, MOTHERFUCKING FINALLY: gender matters NOTHING on the internet because, as we all know, there are no girls on the internet.

tl;dr, wait your fucking turn Regador and stop stirring up the shit-drama bucket already, you impatient little twit.

Your experience is pretty much par for the course with Jax, unfortunately. More likely than not, you will get your costume, but it could be years down the line. Jax unfortunately does not have a very professional or businesslike attitude towards his costume-making and customers, but he's not a scam artist.

people here keep saying she does not scam people. She does not scam the majority of people yes. But there are many like me that she has scammed out of money.

The first FC i went too I comissioned a badge and a page art of my character. I paid upfront. The badge got to me pretty quick and i was happy with it. but was told that the other art. The bulk of the cash was for, would not be ready till after the con.

well 9 months later and 1 e-mail a month from me to see about progress.. None was made. so i asked for my money back. Nothing. 3 months later I finally get back in touch and she said she sent cash in the mail. Wich never got to me. Then she said she sent the "cash" and the case was closed..

So in the end like many she supposedly refunds this way. I did get ripped off.

Good luck to anyone that comissiones her. she makes nice stuff in the end.
