Things People Say To Artists...

I hope this is allowed....
I am trying to compile a list of things people have said to artists and commissioners that have a negative view/stance on various subjects surrounding art. Mediums, pricing, marketing, art itself, methods, etc.  Anything and everything, even if it seems minor. What arguments have you seen out there?
Please number/point if you have more than one to share.

Examples of what I'm looking for:
-Digital is worth more than traditional.
-Art isn't a real job. (Everyone knows this one)
-Digital art is cheating.
-Patreon is a scam/paywall.

Variations on the same thing and details are welcome because sometimes it can add another dynamic to the opinion that must also be tackled.

The audacity in this astounds me. "It's your art! No, really it is your art, but I don't want you to put this thing in here because I don't like it."

The sad part is people seem to want to dictate what artists do with their work all too often.

It's actually people like this that are the reason why some places forbid employees from saying Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.

My favorite part is that they're totally ignoring that it's a commission? "WHY IS THERE A CROSS THERE" I dunno because the person paying wanted it?????

Right?? It was so out of this world, the only thing I could do was laugh my head off. I wrote a phantom reply and never sent it, this kind of thinking isn't worth the response.
