Opinions on Payoneer (PayPal alternative)

I've heard that there's a payment system called Payoneer, and I think it's an alternative to PayPal. I never used that service before, to be honest, so I'll need some opinions about it before I sign up on it.

Is it a good PayPal alternative or not? And if some of you actually used it, what are your experiences with it, whether they're good or bad?

I haven't heard of them or looked into them, but my biggest concern would be a Buyer Protection program akin to Paypal's. It's basically a free escrow service Paypal offers to buyers who pay using the Goods and Services option, and if you don't get your goods or services delivered in a timely manner (or as described), Paypal will refund your money quickly and relatively hassle-free. Most online payment processors don't offer anything like that in my experience, and it would be the one really critical piece I would look for in a new payment system.

Payoneer is essential for sex workers (hi! we're people too!) in the fact that most payment processors, PayPal included, refuse to let their service be used to pay for or collect money from ppl for "adult services" which can be anywhere from full service work (what ya'll civvies kindly call escorting and some still use slur of prostitute) to online camming and selling nudes so Payoneer is 100% sex worker friendly and tbh the majority of people who use it are swers.

You'll find that most payment processors (even Green Dot) have something about this in their TOS and I actually did get my Paypal account frozen and later terminated bc I am a cam model and was using it to accept donations completely separate from my work mmmmbut they don't care and will freeze accounts for that and SO MUCH MORE!

I asked a Paypal rep about Payoneer since Paypal decided to stop working with my country's banks. The rep told me Payoneer did not hold up to their standards of customer privacy or safety and they would not recommend it.

Now, have they told me this because they want me to not use a competitor's site or because it's genuine advice, I don't know.

But quite honestly Payoneer just seems extremely shady and there's a complete lack of info and transparency about them which is why I find it hard to trust them with my money.

Payoneer has been around for a long time (10+ years, I think). That's about all I know about them, unfortunately.
