Yes, I still owe her a head from a contest a while back. She's been bugging me about it, which I totally don't blame her for since it's been a year now. I have regular contact with her because of this, if anyone would like me to forward anything to her I'd be glad to.

Well it seems she's made new accounts on DA (her Aurasoul account was banned shortly after her suspension was over) but they've both been banned. She should consider going back to FA. I'm going to try contacting her on the German Furbase forums and see if she responds.

She did publicly post a journal with some updates for her commissioners, so I'm really not as angry with her as I was.

Did you pay via credit card THROUGH paypal? Sometimes credit cards can have longer grace periods, but they can still get your money back.

I made the first payment out of PayPal and the second was thru PayPal using my credit card. The thing is that our last 'transaction' was in June, so I'm unsure if anyone can really do anything on it.

I knew she sounded familiar when you mentioned she posted fox porn on purpose.

I was lurking the ^Devart page and a few users were pointing out that she was flaming other users. I went to her page (Ravesoul, before it was banned) and someone on her page mentioned she was trying to get herself permanently banned (fox porn/flaming) because she was purposely scamming people with commissions.

Im not sure if the comment is still there on Ravesoul's page, but I'm pretty sure thats what I saw.

I found her shady back when she started posting pics of plush to dA. She uploaded images she stole from Runo's doll making site of a plush Runo made, and posted it saying it was hers. She later got angry when a number of us reported her for it and it was removed, claiming she'd made one from the pattern and it looked exactly like it, so why should it matter if it was the same photo?

...Riiiight, exaaactly like Runo's. I have yet to see anyone who attempted Runo's patterns make something precisely like hers.

I hope it does get sorted out like it sounds like it is going to.

At least she showed progress, that's a much better sign than nothing. It may just be a case of immaturity and disorganization, someone opening up commissions when they're not prepared to stay focused on them.

Runo has a great doll site here: http://dollmaker.nunodoll.com/ She's in Japan and does not take commissions but releases all her patterns free of charge.

I hate paying for things and never receiving it. What you can do, since your paypal ticket was declined, is call your bank that your paypal account is linked to. They'll tell you what form you need to fill out for an unauthorized payment (in this case a payment that was authorized but needs to be recovered because the item was never received). Paypal will then open its own claim and research the problem.

As long as your bank account was the original source of the money you can call them and ask them how to proceed. Usually when you authorize a payment, Paypal automatically transfers the money from your account into your paypal account, then to the person you are paying. It's always worth a shot, but since it happened so long ago time is precious.

AuraSoul DID send you photos of the plushies and i also saw the receipt from the mail office. They might either have gone lost on the way or take unusually long. You didn't want to pay extra for the package to have a tracking number so i would say it's your own fault.

Yes, and again, I did see the pictures of the plushie, and that did make me feel better but I had lost contact from her since then until I spoke to her on the german furry forum. I did wish that I paid for tracking, looking back on it, but at the time I paid her, I wasn't aware this problem would have rised. But yes, it is my fault for not paying the extra money.

We have since sorted this out. I was one of the lucky ones who did eventually get my plush. She originally sent me 1 photo of 1 (of 2) uncompleted plushes. I waited for several months with no word and no way of getting in touch with her since she didn't respond to my emails or dA notes and eventually had all her accounts banned. I even tried FA. After posting this I was pointed to the German forum, it was only then did I finally get some sort of answer. Since then, we sorted things out and after a few more months of waiting I finally received both photos and plushies.

However I have been contacted by at least 3 others who had commissioned her and have tried to contact her thru the German forum and they've heard nothing. Commissioning is a business, and I'm sorry if you're her friend but she runs this business poorly. Commissioning relies heavily on good communication, mostly from the artist. More so because she's over in Germany and I'm in the States. I don't know her life and if she doesn't say 'I'm busy there's been a delay' how am I supposed to know that? This was also my first plush commission and I was not offered insurance or a tracking number.

Shes getting angry at me over on the German Furry board when I posted on the forum and linked this page. Honestly, she should stop taking on commissions until shes able to sort things out if her life is busy. Even a customer on the German forum local to her posted that Aura said his plushie was done and that she would deliver it to him, and that was a few weeks ago.

Knowing that there are several other customers of hers that are having trouble getting a hold of her and have not received their plushies yet is not helping her case.

Okay first thing to say, I know Aura very well. After all, she's living a barely 10 Minutes drive away from my den and I've sort of known her from the first week when she discovered the german fandom.

I won't step into the breach for her and call you all liars, but I can surely say that Auroa herself is not a thief.
Yes, she has a very big problem with communication and I once told her to stop taking commissions when she doesn't even have time for her everyday life.
Speaking of, yes, it's also no lies, she does have great problems with her family, especially her father and every day I hope for the call to get my van over to her place and move her stuff out of that parental prison.

This is of course no excuse for letting folks wait for months, but I think it explains a little.
Again, I don't want to neglect anyone's accusations, I just want to relativize them a little.

Still, here is the small part with my personal opinion about something:
It's your own fault if you chose non-insured international shipping and the parcel gets lost, stolen, damaged.
If someone offers international shipping without insurance or tracking, you can still ask for it or assin a pick&ship of your own with a parcel service you desire. Everything else is just saving on the wrong end.

Furthermore, if anyone is still having problems with reaching Aura about already paid commissions, you can message me about it and I'll try and call her up.
