Scam Warning?

I meant to post this last night, but I completely zoned out.

I received an email yesterday, from "Juliet Samuel" and it immediately sent off red flags for me.

Hi, I am Juliet!
please how are you! hope you are fine and in perfect condition of health.I went through your profile at (www.furaffinity.net) and i read it and took intersest in it,please if you don't mind i will like you to write me on this ID (julietsamuel99@yahoo.com) hope to hear from you soon,and I will be waiting for your mail because i have something VERY important to tell you. Lots of love Mis Juliet Samuel!

Now, an artist I watch on FA received the exact same letter, and apparently, some of her other watchers received it as well. I have not replied to this, and I do not intend to. I'm very wary of things like this, and felt it should be passed along.

Also, if this is someone who is legit, please let me know. I don't like to ignore people, but at the same time, I'd rather not give a scammer the time of day.

Anyone find out what the scam is yet? Sounds like this letter has been sent to a lot of people but so far no details aside from "it's a scam".

I looked into this more and found it is not limited to Fur Affinity. It is a scam that's been making the rounds on several 'dating sites'. I guess the scam is to hook someone on a dating site then it goes all 419 on them and they drop the old 'uncle inherited a million dollars' thing. Seems to originate in Senegal and they're so notorious that several dating sites ban everything coming from Senegal.

Its a scam. I'm retarded and replyed to her asking what was up (Assumeing she was a commissioner). She replyed with a long speal about how she needed my bank account number to transfer 5,000,000 or something dollars to the country to save for her schooling in the "americas". It included an image of an attractive looking african woman at the bottom.

I deleted it once I saw "My father just died, he was the prince of ___ African nation.."

So FYI, yes its a scam. and Yes, I'm retarded.

That looked like one of those "419" scams from the start. I've replied back to a crap ton of those with nasty insults about how the jerks should go get some real jobs like decent people instead of trying to trick people out of their hard earned money.

These people end up picking up email addresses from all over the place. :\

I gotten that from years ago, but I KNEW IT! She IS a scam all along! Seriously, she showed a picture of herself(I bet it's a fakeass image), also continues to write me on my gmail saying "To my longest love..." and something about a pastor and shit, blah blah blah, and I now get annoyed and didn't reply until I used an option to prevent her from emailing me. I guessed it all along that it was a scam. I was stupid to realize what just happened.
