Not much of an update except to ask- does anyone know if she's active anywhere other than deviantart right now?

In the past she's been pretty sneaky of crying "omg, you guys hate me, I'm never using (some site) again" and promptly switching to just another site where she rips off even more people.

Last contact I had with her was her DA page 6 months ago, one of the plush commissions:

* I commented that: so i guess back in March of 2009 you have forgotten that you said you were NEVER going to take more commissions until the people you ripped off had been refunded?
* She said: I don't
* I replied: ok. still looking forward to my finished plush and/or refund.

and she never replied. Of course.

I still doubt that that fox was not a new commission as she's also done THAT before: claimed to never take another new commission until her HUGE backlog was done and then... taken new commissions! As if we wouldn't notice?

Oh, for those in the dark- here are two other posts about her from a_b. So aside from "updating" the situation also consider it a "new" warning to anyone new around here. She stole $400 from me, don't let her take your money too. She's also taken from other people but now as her mailing list is deleted it's hard to track those folk down, unless they've since come here?

You've been waiting five years for this chick to make you a plush? And for five years all she's done is give you excuses? Even more so when it was just "paw pads and whiskers?" Something here is very wrong. It doesn't take five years to put on paw pads and whiskers on a plush, I don't care how high quality it is. Something is terribly wrong. Even if she's posting back-logged commissions, little details shouldn't take five years. Have you ever seen ANYTHING about this plush? Even a WIP image of some type?

I've seen NOTHING of her supposed work on this. Once she did claim it was "almost done" and that it's head "got smashed" and she had to start over. Or something like that.

The story of that I think was on her yahoogroup... if I am remembering correctly her bf at the time smashed it in fists of fury or something. But she deleted the ygroup so I can't get the original email about that.

Well, by now I am just waiting for my damn refund. And there's patience, and there's being too poor to afford a GOOD lawyer (cuz let's face it, with her having 3 friggin' kids what judge would side with the right side?).

you wouldn't need a lawyer, because it would fall under small claims wherein you represent yourself in a less formal court...however, after 5 years, the statute of limitations for your jurisdiction has most likely come into effect. For this kind of claim, you usually only have a window of a few years, but, it is possible that you could argue the breach of contract occurred every time you communicated with her and she said she would fulfill her obligations...if I were you I would go down to the local courthouse ASAP and just have a talk with the clerks there.

In any event, sorry you were ripped off so badly. In cases like there, beyond the money, there are pride and anger issues that take a lot longer to resolve, isn't it? Best of luck!

Well, there's waiting and there's just making sure she doesn't rip others off. I COULD take her to court but as she started to move around and popping kids right after she got my money... without a GOOD lawyer no judge would side with me, cuz she's a "poor mummy".

Yep. HER kids, if you believe it. When I commissioned her I knew she had had 1 kid that was out in the world from adoption. Now she has 3 living with her... so she either got her 1st kid back, or now has a total of FOUR of her genetic-houses running around.

U_U I would NOT have waited 5 years! You should've asked for a refund at the 6th month of the first year. With her having kids, and how long it's been period - I hate to be pessimistic, but you're not going to get the product OR refund.

And if you've read my other comments you can see it's not exactly about getting anything now, just about making sure I do all I can to make sure she gets as little new clients as possible. And if you read the other posts you'd have seen that I was trying in as little as... I think it was 4 months, to get something back.

I only lurk here every so often, so I don't read the past posts or anything. You can also do what they did with Paiseley by making a comm gathering the people this person ripped off too.

I wish I had done that before she had deleted her list. But back then I was almost alone in being the only person mad at her. One guy who had waited 3some years for his plush was constantly telling me to leave her alone. It was so weird.

Anyone know if Blaque's ever made good with Grygon, or still making excuses? He hasn't posted in a few years and I know it was a big (justified) crusade for him. I've seen some activity from BT lately and was wondering if I had to be the one to issue the next warning. Also if I can contact him it would be nice. I think he deserves some answers.
