Another Darzi post...

In April of 2009 I bought a commission for a fursuit foam head from Darzi VIA furbid. At the time, she had nothing but positive feedback and did not have the less then reputable reputation that she has now. At the time, I was getting ready to get married and move to Canada and she was very good to respond and even offered to ship the head to my new place in Canada for no extra charge.

Her responses to my e-mails were usually very quick, and about a month later she sent me links to finished pictures of the foam base on FurAffinity.



Unfortunately, the pictures have long since been deleted and I don't seem to have them anywhere on my computer so a cap of the e-mail she sent me will have to do. But I will tell you that the pictures she sent me were very beautiful and I was very, very happy with what I saw. It even had a moving jaw... which I didn't expect! I couldn't wait to get it and start furring the head!

So I wait... and I wait... and I wait. Nothing comes in the mail.

MEH!

So in the August/September time period I'm really wondering what's up. I sent her an e-mail asking her if the head has been sent. No response. Sent her another one around January. No response.

I chalked it up to the head getting lost at customs or with Canada Post, since in the short amount of time I've already been living there, I already had issues with the local postal service and just let it go...

... until someone posted this thread in the fursuit auctions community back in March wondering where Darzi was because they couldn't get ahold of her either.

I responded that they weren't the only one having issues with Darzi and gave a brief description of what went on with my experience. It wasn't long before Darzi responded saying that she was having medical problems and hasen't been able to respond to e-mails lately. I gave her my e-mail address again so she could let me know what's going on.

A few days later I received a "bulk" e-mail that she's sent to all the client she owed suits to with a personalized message on the end.



A few days afterwards, she sends me another e-mail saying that it will be in the mail on Tuesday. I responded with a simple "thank you" and "I can't wait to get it".

I wait... and wait... and wait. Nothing.

About a month later I receive another e-mail saying that she no longer uses plastic mesh in her suits so she offered to make me a new head base as well as send me the first one she made if I could wait until June.



Since I had long since given up on the idea of receiving my head anyways, I said okay and gave her my measurements... but in retrospect I probably should have said "Don't make me a new one! Just send me the damn head!".

A few days later I sent her an e-mail saying that if she wanted to send the original head that she made, then she could send it to my parent's house back in the US to save on shipping since I was going to go visit them late that month.

No response.

So here it is... the end of June 2010 and I STILL haven't heard anything about my foam head base that was finished over a year ago. Normally I'd try sending her another e-mail around this time, but since the only time she seems to respond is when someone posts a beware post about her, I'm going straight here instead.

Don't get me wrong...
I feel bad for the girl (sort of) and I think this is a case of taking on more commissions then she could handle, but still... it's been over a year since it was finished. It should have been in my hands long ago. >:(

If it was done, I don't understand why it wasn't sent to you. That sort of thing is so strange. I hope your situation can be worked out!

I never understood that either. Why let it sit around your house for a year instead of mailing the damn thing out... >:(

Well she's been back in touch recently... X___X I'm on her commission list too and she also wants to remake my fursuit head... I hope that I don't have to jump through hoops like this too.

I had a little bit of sympathy for her in the beginning, since I don't have a car and sometimes have a hard time making it to the post office to mail things out... but a year?!

I guess I should feel special that she actually finished mine... since the issue that most people seem to have with her is that she never finished their fursuits. :/

Thanks for the offer, but cash is a little tighter for me right now so I'm afraid that fursuit parts are a luxury item I can't afford at the moment.

I can't drive myself (seizure queen), but even if I have to walk halfway across town I've always gotten my stuff shipped out ASAP. Unless she is rural and/or disabled (as in physically can't walk across town)...

I dunno though, the fact that yours is finished almost makes it worse because of the fact that it's sitting there for no good reason. =(

Okay, let me make a post to fix this.

I am her friend that typed that on her own computer with my OWN personal agenda and vendetta against Darzi.

Let me explain my point, and let me also apologize to you guys and Eris especially for doing that without her consent.

I did it as a "joking plug" for her work, but she found it and got really pissed off. Now I am feeling the burn and ready to take the flack. Yet I am also ready to defend my point.

Sorry, she is a great suit maker, but I shouldn't have dragged her reputation through the mud by plugging her in such a brazen fashion. My character DOES dictate that I do things like that, but not her.

So please do not allow ErisValgen to feel the brunt that I deserve. I grabbed her laptop, made a post, and then she found out about it afterwards. I said "I attributed something." She didn't perceive it as serious.

Now... I see it was a bit more venomous than I intended.

Please understand, that post was made by me. I felt I wanted to say something, and try to plug her good work in the process and do so as a joke. Really, that was bad. I know that.

My words, being as biased as they are, came out tacky and venomous. Not what Eris would be at all in fact.

And yes, I used "I" because I was pretending to be her. Jokingly. I grabbed the laptop when I saw a darzi post on her screen and typed it up. We were going to remove it, but I didn't know.

And no, I didn't know it was against the community rules to erase comments.

I can promise you that it was not her. She is watching me type this... pretty pissed off right now.

100% my fault. I will truthfully tell you why I am this way about Darzi and why I get pretty crappy over the whole thing.

You guys have no clue how many people she has done this to. Between big jobs and small ones. I have talked to the people she has dealt with.

I know she owes:
1.) $15
2.) $50
3.) $45 - Me by the way
4.) $500ish - (dragonfeathers made a post)
5.) the poster here
and thist list keeps going... and going...

The whole reason why she does take jobs is because she needs the money to get out of her financial holes. I show no mercy for her financial issues. Buying drugs when you owe hundreds in pay day loans should NOT owe her sympahty.

I know the girl in real life. I finally give up on her as a person. She can keep my $45 dollars. If she gives it back, I would burn it if the Treasury didn't declare it illegal. Money bothers me none. It is what she has done to you guys that ticks me off.

Believe me. I know what she does. She earns no sympathy. None.

And oh buddy... you don't want to know the drama she has caused outside of her little fursuit/art issues. Overall the person will make you feel pity until you gain some reality on her. Trust me, if you have seen her spend your money on pot even while in debt to pay day loan places... it gives you perspective. Perspectives you wish you never had.

It sounded serious because I wanted it to be perceived as such. God I feel like shit because I feel as if I screwed things up by letting my own anger out.

I did it thinking it would benefit her. Oh god, was I ever wrong. Now I am trying my best to help her out in doing damage control over something I caused. She did NOT do this.

Hell, if Darzi/Bailey saw this... she'd know it was me... affirm it was me... and tell you all that Eris was not a part of it. She'll know who it is the moment she sees this.

I am 100% serious. I did the immature thing of pretending to be someone I am not just to "help her."

Believe me, I am not going to rest until this is resolved in her favor. I got on her laptop when I saw this and tried to do something as a joke, let it sit for a while, not thinking of the consequences.

I did the "pretend to be her" thing as a joke. I pointed it to her, she saw the comments that followed, got pissed, I erased it for her, and then now I am suffering the consequences.

Belive me... it is worse on my end right now. :\

So believe me or not, I am going to re-emphasize fully that this was NOT Eris. This was just some angry pissed off ex-friend of a fursuit maker that steals money from people to offset her financial woes. I am amongst those people as is three of my friends here in Tulsa, and many of you guys across the internet.

(Oh add one to that list of people. I just remembered... $100 for his stuff.

I am not doubting this. She might have well over $1500+ of outstanding work/debt that needs to be cleared.)

So I publically say sorry for any trouble I caused Eris. :\

Considering you used someone elses account (allegedly) in order to pretend you were them and apparantly somehow trash Darzi by doing so, I'm seriously just going to say that this is all bs just to make Darzi look worse than she is even making herself.
