EDIT: Aurasoul's boyfriend sent me a refund. Assuming they don't try anything stupid to try to defraud me I'm going to consider the matter closed.

I commissioned a custom plush from Aurasoul on FA as a gift to a friend. Almost two years later, it has not been completed or sent and there is no evidence that it was ever started. Meanwhile, the "artist" has acted improperly, making vague and not so vague threats. In the journal cited below, the artist outright states that she will commit theft (keeping money spent without providing product) if people complain. The link to the actual journal is followed by a link to a screenshot archive in case the journal itself is removed.

She outright states that she will keep my money and then sell the product I ordered at auction.

This follows her intentionally getting herself banned on DA after people started to complain there, so she could not be contacted there. Do not ever commission this scammer.

That's just awful, I'm sorry to hear that you've fallen afoul of such an unprofessional artist.

I'd suggest reporting her to furbid if she does try to sell the plush on there, also reporting it to other bidding places if she tries to sell the plush elsewhere.

Hopefully the sites will remove her if she refuses to give customers their paid for plush and just tries to sell it for profit.

...Well it took me a while to figure out what she was saying, I'm not very good with broken English. For the record, I think that if you can't speak English at least half-decently, then you probably shouldn't be taking commissions from native English speakers, because this could and most likely WILL lead to a lot of confusion. Such as this: "i have said i finish it, so when YOU say you dont want it". Reading the comments, am I correct in assuming that you bought a plush for someone else, but her inability to grasp the English language lead her to believe that you canceled the commission? Not to say that you shouldn't still be refunded.

The implications that it's just something wrong with people from 'overseas' and not anything she's done are off-putting as well. It seems a bit xenophonic.

...Wow.

Honestly, try your upmost best to warn people as much as possible and spread the word. This girl doesn't deserve ANYBODY'S money OR a good reputation anymore for having that needless attitude.

Treating a customer like that is absolutely disgusting, especially when the customer was trying to be as professional as possible.

Karma is going to bite her in the ass.

My question is, WHY are people sympathizing with her? "Ohhh, poor artist! She didn't like the people who commissioned her, so now she has to resort to ripping them off!"

Still, it seems like it would be a bit of an iffy thing to deal with; personally, I wouldn't deal with an international artist if neither of us could understand each other's languages well, because I would hate for something to blow up over translation.

...And wow. Just. Just wow. :/ How old is this person? 12?

One of the great mysteries of the ages. There are always at least a few people who will coddle no matter what the situation.

"force me! you wont get anything and no you have lost the chance that i finish the plushie for YOU. i will finish it and sell it on furbid, then you can see if you get it.

se what you get when you threat me like that?"

Holy crap immature and unprofessional! Not to forget the name-calling either!

I know this isn't helpful advice at ALL but her repetitious "I have over 99 happy customers!" just reminds me of the silly Insanity Wolf picture that says " I HAVE 99 PROBLEMS AND THEY ARE ALL YOU!". I feel it's appropriate for her in this case.

And damn, she is not smart for putting that journal up. Even if she deletes it, people can/have screencapped it and they can show it to people who are considering commissioning her or using it as proof if she's run off with their money for whatever reason.

Because there is always someone who will side with someone no matter how badly they're behaving.

Wow, that is super shitty. People sure have a lot of gall. Sounds like they never intended on coughing up the item.

And replaced with this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1527363/ near as I can translate, she's added the OP to her block list.

As expected, the journal was VERY quickly deleted as soon as people started calling her out on this being illegal. However, I got a cap!

AHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAH! You're awesome!

I almost feel like someone should make a spoof version of " 88 lines about 44 women" by the Nails, only using bad commish artists who have been featured here instead of girls.

Sorry about deleted comment, clipped the wrong button by accident.^^;; All it said was that she's posted a new journal bragging about blocking Fuzzypaws.

I love this sort of situation: Artist takes more than a year to make art, the commissioner asks for a refund, artist refuses because they've already bought the materials and are working on the art RIGHT NOW!!

Yeah right! XD
