It's Opposite Day on Artists_Beware!
Well, not exactly Opposite Day, since positive reviews have always been welcome here, but from here on out we are going to keep positive reviews in this monthly format. We will be doing this on or around the first of the month from now on. No separate positive review posts will be allowed from this point on. This being the first run, how we do this may change a little depending on how things go.
If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams.
There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.
To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:
1. Name of the person you recommend. (Please put this in the subject of your comment, also.)
2. Link to person's website or art page.
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person.
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!)
If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.

3. I've commissioned her for various pieces throughout the year. She's never taken more than a month to complete a piece.
4. Omega is prompt, easy to work with, and incredibly polite. Majority of the time with my commissions, she's worked purely on text based descriptions with very little in the way of visual references. She only made a mistake with a single commission, and made me a new piece with the correct pose without any hassle. I recommend her 100%!
The pieces I commissioned are as follows:

what can i say? shes fantastic! she finished items in a very timely manner, works hard to make sure your product is exactly how you want it, ships quickly, items always arrive safely. shes pleasant and professional as well!
i was verrrrrry specific about how i wanted my thylacine dragon tail. i drew a basic concept sketch, showing the tail with a specific shape and curve as well as a certain number of stripes and said that there should be enough space between each stripe for me to place the spikes that i was hand making for my tail. the tail arrived quickly, unstuffed (as agreed upon) and the sewing was very well done and neat. i added the spikes, stuffed it and sewed it shut and was in shock....because it was PERFECT. the shape, size, details, everything. :D

ive also commissioned her for several bead sprites and done a few trades with her. shes an absolute pleasure to do business with. :)

4. I have purchased commissions from Coffinberry on two separate occasions, and both times I have received my art within a very reasonable amount of time and with awesome quality. On top of this, she's very down-to-earth and you don't feel intimidated in the least when working with her.

Kashmere
Date: 2010-08-06 02:43 am (UTC)2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kashmere
3. July 20, 2010
4. Image commissioned. (http://pics.livejournal.com/p3nsive/pic/001cb9ct) Kashmere completed the image very swiftly, and perfectly to my specifications (I'd requested a specific pose, and she did a great job making it her own). She got my characters markings and outfit exactly as I'd hoped, and even sent me the full-size scan via eMail so that I could color it myself. Commission was received in the mail only a few days later, with a signed thank you message. Kashmere was very friendly towards me each time we spoke, and was very pleasant to do business with.

4. Images (http://pics.livejournal.com/p3nsive/pic/000w8ef9) commissioned. (http://pics.livejournal.com/p3nsive/pic/0016c6s6) Mary is not only a fabulous artist, but she has some of the best customer service of anyone I've ever commissioned. She went beyond the call of duty, and will DEFINITELY be receiving my business again in the future.

4. I have commissioned her three times because she delivers pieces quickly and in a very professional manner. She's easy to communicate with (has an AIM account as well as a Twitter account that I used to talk to her on) and is a very friendly person to do business with.

4. Image commissioned. (http://pics.livejournal.com/p3nsive/pic/000xrk9w) I commissioned Mitsene for a ref sheet of my character, Andy. I was shown every step of the commission from sketch to inks to color (including small revisions), and she was very good about making changes when requested, which is important to me when commissioning a ref sheet.

4. Image commissioned. (http://pics.livejournal.com/p3nsive/pic/00158sr4) I had a specific idea in mind, and Marci did a FABULOUS job replicating that idea. She got both our characters perfect, and completed the commission exactly when she said she would.
Fredryk Phox
Date: 2010-08-06 03:11 am (UTC)2. It's a livejournal, actually.. Can't find him on FA. http://fredryk.livejournal.com/
3. Mid-December, 2009
4. I saw a LiveJournal post talking about him needing extra cash. So I commissioned him for 20-25 dollars or so. He got in touch with me on AIM about 10 minutes later, I gave him payment within 20 minutes of initial contact, and then watched him draw it out in OC with me offering live corrections and ideas over the next few hours. It's not perfect, but it still looks fantastic to me. http://d.facdn.net/art/krylancelo/1261285234.krylancelo_fredrykphox-krylancelo.jpg

3. January and then again in April, I received my pieces both within a week of commissioning them
4. I've commissioned Dizziness at an anime con before, and she was prompt, professsional, and amazingly sweet. After commissioning her at two Metrocons, I saw her work online and followed it, and purchased two sketches and a conbadge when she opened. (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3089251/ - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3089246/ - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3568997) All are amazingly done and up to her current standards. She was super easy to work with, and very nice! She gets her pieces done very quick! I got the originals in the mail and she had packed them very nicely, and I have them hanging in my room right now. :)

3. I commissioned her the 13th of Jun and got my image the 17th of June
4. I had seen these tail wag icons around and I thought they were adorable, and under recommendation of a friend, got one. She was quick, super chill to work with, and produced an amazing icon that I simply adore! She works mostly on TeenyCom I believe! The icon I am using is the finished product.
Diogenes
Date: 2010-08-06 04:13 am (UTC)2. http://diogenes.deviantart.com/
3. The first commission I got from him was in early? July 2009 and received July 21st, 2009... the second I got was in May, 2010 and received June 1st, 2010! (so he's fairly quick for me!)
4. Ahh, I have the great honor of saying he's a friend of mine and he's extremely nice. He's professional, he's willing to make changes, he'll show plenty of WIPs. He seems to really enjoy working on his commissions, too, so that's always a plus. I highly recommend him - he can do a ton of things. Humans, anthro, creatures, etc etc. He's not very well known, but he SHOULD be! Here are my commissions I got from him: http://diogenes.deviantart.com/art/Dae-Commission-130404889 and http://diogenes.deviantart.com/art/Nox-Commission-166105481
