Just a friendly warning to all artists and users about Kurokitten87 on FA ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kurokitten87/ ). About 3-4 months ago, she wanted to buy all of my Pokemon cards off of me for the price of $125 and a sketchbook filled with whatever I want. She sent me the first payment of $25 along with postage to send half of the cards out to her. I sent em out, everything went well, then it came around time for the next payment. She didn't have it. Ok, so I gave her a couple more weeks, and still got nothing.

It's been till now, that I -still- have NOT recieved another payment, AND I have to keep asking for updates, otherwise she just ignores the fact she owes me money. I've by now told her to keep her money, after she keeps telling me she has no job, and is currently paying for physical therapy.

There's a couple of other artists she owes money to now, and has still yet to pay them (Keitelwolf and NiobeNox).

I would highly suggest not taking a commission from her, unless you get the money upfront.

You sent half the cards after receiving 1/5th of the payment, not including the sketchbook? As everyone in this community will tell you, NEVER EVER EVER give anything to the commissioner (or buyer, in your case) without payment.

Also, no, never tell someone who won't pay after receiving their items to "keep her money". You just gave her permission to rip you off for the rest.

she gave me the excuse of she hurt her toe and then that she was moving and lost her job and had to pay for her physical therapy. its one excuse after another with her.

I did a commission for her and it went perfectly fine. It's unfortunate she isn't like this with all commissions.

What is with some people and the "woe is me" guilt trip crap? I've been in and out of hospital for the last bloody year and I don't whine about it to people who are waiting for things.

WOOOOOOW your last response to her is COMPLETELY unnecessary. You could have handled that WAY more professionally.

Not that it excuses her non-payment AT ALL, but that is a HORRIBLE way to EVER treat a customer.

No matter what, you should never, ever curse at your customer or treat them that way.
I had a customer like this before, but I will never in my right mind lash out at them like that. I'm sorry that they didn't pay you the rest of the money owed to you, but sheesh.

Yes Zoey is my friend but I must agree with her when it comes to Kuro. Kuro tried being my mate Kairi and my friend not too long ago. While she was "our friend" all she did was bug us for art. She said she was buying a Foster's jacket and some sculpted badges from us so we okayed it. Well it past a long while and I hit her up about the jacket. I had told a few people that they would have to look else where for the jacket seeing as Kuro mentioned she wanted it and sending money. Well now I lost a grip load of offers and I have this jacket still. Good thing we never started on her badges.

Anyways, other then the jacket, she had a contest not too long ago, with $225 in prizes. Easy to say none of those people received their money yet. I've also told many a soul to stay away from her. Sadly they too have been jipped (such as keitelwolf). Not to mention every time she tells one person she has no money, you see her asking to buy art from another.

Long story short don't do business with her, or if you do, DO NOT start until she pays in full.

I've spoken with her about this several times. She and I were friends. I honestly can't call her my friend anymore and am refusing to do business or trades with her.
Like Shadowpelt had stated, she's claimed she will pay several times- yet we recieved nothing. And I ask her about it often, and it's excuse after excuse.
I tried to help her out with the Pokemon card situation with Zoey a while back; but she made no effort to really fix things. It was just useless promises that she'd sent payment the previous day or via snail mail but then not too long after she would tell me "sorry I haven't sent payment ______ happened" I encouraged her to make things right with the people she's commissioned and her contest.
I spoke with her today after reading this entry. I let her know about it and that she should do something about all the money and art she owes people.

Here is her journal about the contest ending. She stated it was ending July 30th. And has told me that she has yet to pay those people. She told me "I don't have the money, I lost my job and moved"

All I can say is that I hope she fixes things, pays for what needs to be paid for and learns how to prioritize.

If you do business with her, make sure you are paid in FULL before starting or sending anything to her. As well as for trades do NOT give her your half first.

Ok i have read everything on here.... some of you are right.... but its not that I am trying to rip anyone off.... I never meant that in the least.... I suppose you can say that I have "eyes bigger then my wallet" or however the saying goes....

I will give everyone their money and yes even tho Zoey said to forget it I will give hers to her too...

the only other thing I know to do is to appoligize over and over again...

quite a few things that I commissioned was pended and then never gone through with so they were never done...

I do pay people for commissions....

but like I said it was a case of "eyes bigger then my wallet" I dont want to be looked down on as someone that rips people off, because I am honostly not that kind of person...

I have already explained the ordeal about the contest I can show you where... but I will explain to you all about.

There was someone at the time of the contest that had there file working then right before it ended her file curropted and I told her that if she could get the file fixed that I would let her finish it.

But since its been so long... I am just going to end it and say who won...

Which I already know who has won...

I am going to make everything right again...

I guess I am asking to have another chance because I am really not a bad person... and I am sorry for all the trouble I have caused for everyone

Sounds like you are/should be super strict with your money issue. Don't let the "ooooh shiney" get to you. Set up a saving plan so you can buy X.....<---- learned teh hard way with anime goods x_X;.....now has eval mortgage to handle. So no more splurging on anime stuffs.

I remember this chick. She and I announced our art contests around the same time and she tried to get me to join hers. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1369985/ this is the relevant journal, and I see there have been no updates regarding it since it ended on June 30th. Ripping people off like this is bloody unconscionable.

We were waiting on one more person whos file got cruppted right before the contest ended..
