I commissioned her at FurFright 2009 for a fattie. I've been waiting since then and a couple weeks to a month ago, finally emailed her about a refund. She told me she would refund me as soon as she got the money to. Ok fine. I waited 2 more weeks and emailed her again. Ignored. Posted a comment on her FA page about it. Ignored. Then finally commented on a journal of hers telling her she likes to dodge emails and notes. She then decided to tell me that she emailed me back. I told her that I only got that one email from her and nothing else. I haven't heard from her since. I even gave her my paypal address to send the money back to. Just a warning to people wanting to commission her. You may never get it, or never get a refund.

=/ thaaaaat's Leelee for ya. She's pretty much known for that. I know I was one of the lucky ones who actualy saw my badges, though I've given up on getting them in the mail.

She's a dealer at Furfright again this year, so if you're going you may want to try to talk to her there, since she can't really ignore you IRL.

Thru the mail I had a badge show up months later. It did take her a bit to ship it, but when i received it the post date was at least 3 months earlier. o_o Ive actually gotten 3 things from her over time, and accordingly shes gotten more backlogged each time. I do love the product but... :/

If she has such bad problems that it prevents her from doing the stuff people pay her to do, she should refund them and not take commissions.

Everyone has RL problems. But not everyone keeps taking money and doesn't deliver and force their commissioner to jump through hoops.

We've all got problems and it doesn't prevent the rest of us from fufillig our obligations (or showing up to work).
Again, just cause she's an "artist" doesn't give her a free pass when she scams people.

Unfortunately LeeLee has been a noted risk to commission for quite a while now. I don't know what exactly is going on with her, but I'd really suggest people think twice about commissioning her until she gets herself sorted out.

Yeah, Leelee does not have a good reputation. You'll either end up with nothing or dealing with her attitude and nothing.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Her behavior in Protocollie's post and her consistent rudeness and snarkiness when posting here made me put her on my "never commission ever" list.

I used to be on friendly terms with her, but her absolute rudeness when responding to people in previous A_B posts really caused me to dislike her. Being tardy with your work is one thing, but then being snarky to customers on top of it? No thank you.

Not to mention I have my own commission paid for well over a year ago that was never mailed out. Even when, on a previous complaint post months ago, she told me if I noted her my address she'd send it. At this point I've given up with pestering her.

No matter how busy your life is, there's no excuse for not getting to a post office in that amount of time. Laziness is laziness.

I commissioned her at AC 2008, my second conventions ever, and my first major one.

I actually ended up checking on her multiple times a day at the con, usually when she said 'It should be done in an hour' I would be there.
I had no idea who she was either. I'm pretty sure I pestered her enough in person to get my conbadge, because it made me go away.

So, if you're heading to FF, I suggest you just pester her until you have a product in your hands.

Why does this post not surprise me at all? The second I hear "Leelee," I know it's game over.
I hope you can find some sort of resolution, though unfortunately I've seen her treat a lot of people like she's treated you. I don't think she'll change any time soon :/

This always makes me sad but I expect it. She used to be one of my good friends and then I think she got a bad case of the popufur or something. She always seems to leave such rude snarky comments when it comes to everything, I guess it makes her cool or something. Idk.

I bought a badge and 2 icons from her over 2 years ago. After much poking and pushing she completed my 2 icons, but not the badge. She sketched it, but never finished it because it was too hard or something like that. Then, when I asked her if she could make me a new one a few months back, she started to sketch it while streaming, but was never seen after that.

But if she is buying stuff on other sites and is claiming to be low on funds, maybe she should stay off line, finish her owed art, and seek help when it comes to compulsive spending.

I ordered some artwork done and made into stickers for a friend of mine over a year ago. The artwork was made, eventually, but she has yet to send the stickers out. I've e-mailed her several times and she keeps asking for the address, over and over. Now all of these A_B posts make me worry that my friend will never get these stickers. :/ It's unfortunate that there's no way to label artists online so new commissioners won't run into problems so many have dealt with before them.

Well, she IS moving so I know all of her supplies are packed up and she's hardly at the computer anymore.

i asked for a refund though. not the picture anymore. i just want my money back. even if its a mere $8, i just dont want to bother with a picture anymore. id rather have a little extra cash.
