Has anyone heard from E. Trips/Sir Trips recently? He commissioned me on March 2nd for a 1 hour speed painting. He asked that I send along a sketch first so he can approve it before I continue, so I did. I didn't hear from him, so I emailed him again asking if he got it.

He said he was moving and busy and whatnot, sorry for the delay, but he'll get back to me with feedback as soon as he was stable. This was months ago.

I emailed him again last week and asked him to please get in touch with me in regards to his commission and that if I didn't hear from him by Monday I'd issue a refund. It's been 5 days and is now Tuesday (as of my writing this), so I went ahead and issued a refund via paypal using the "Send Money" feature as its been well over the 60 day limit for actual refunds. I'm out the time I spent on the sketch but it was negligible, I just don't like owing people and folks who don't get back to me after several contact attempts fall into the category of "debts I no longer wish to have on my head when the ball's in their court".

Not mad, just concerned, has anyone heard from him?

I had contact with him last on June 30th when he commissioned me for some digital flat color pieces. I owe him one more picture, but I needed a description from him. After emailing him on July 7th about the owed art I haven't heard a word back.

Kinda wondering where he's at myself! =3

Can't say I have, but I will toss in that in the last two months I was planning to do a commission for someone else, that included Sir Tip's character. As per my rules I asked that he send me a note that it was okay for the other party to include them in the art.

Waited about a month and he never responded, so commission was put on hold.

My understanding was that he was without internet due to the move and hasn't gotten it set up yet?

He's actually been out of the country, so has had limited internet access. He recently contacted me via FA, but haven't heard back since I replied. So I imagine he doesn't have access often. :\

But a refund for now is probably best. I wouldn't been comfortable holding money that long either.

I know he's stopped contacting other artists as well, like cookiehana on DA. So it seems he's kinda dissappeared for a while.

I've done a piece of free art for them awhile ago 'cause they won a kiriban-ish thing... and it took them a loooong time to respond, but they finally did. They don't seem to frequent the net and just take a very long time to get back to people.
They seem to be a super nice person, just take a long time to get back to people. I'm sure they'll get back to you eventually.

Probably for the best. I'd do the same thing. :)

I can answer this question, as he recently contacted me on FA a while after I sent a note.

He's been out of the country with limited internet access. So I'd imagine once he gets access again or returns home, he'll be able to contact you and anyone else that's tried to contact him. :)
