this isnt so much that ive been cheated, its just a pet peeve of mine:

awhile ago Lakota won one of my LJ mood icon auctions for a set of 25. she paid in full and all was well. i finally finished most of the icons and sent her what i had, she never responded. not even a "thank you" or a "i like them the way they are, please finish the other ones."

she just dropped off the face of the earth.

If Lakota ever commissions you, make sure you keep in contact with her or you may end up doing work for no reason. i still havent finished the rest of her moodicons. why should i? she kept me hanging forever.

You are still obligated to finish that commission. Lakotawolf, like the person or not, paid you money for a commission. They don't need to say shit to you about it. They don't even have to say thank you. They could tell you they all suck, eat shit and die. Just because your boss doesn't like to you doesn't mean you can stop flipping burgers for an hour and expect to still get paid.
