There's also another account which appears to be an alternate account of hers on FA, but I don't know if I should mention it as I'm not 100% sure!
WHAT: This minor beware is with regards to their rude behaviour and disregard to T.O.S.

They have been banned on FA for art theft/ban evasion. I don't know any exact details of this, I'm afraid!

Of course, I can't really speak for any of this, as they're not my personal experiences. However, I felt I should provide more proof of her behaviour as I don't have many screenshots of the rudetowards me!

PROOF/EXPLAIN:
This first part is about the commissioning process.

I don't have much to go on with this, as I (stupidly) deleted the notes in question. In short, I just wanted it over with and to get it off my mind, but in hindsight...do I regret it. So for the first part, I just have a 'my side of the story' as such.

Poisonousvixen approached me for a commission, explained what they wanted, payment sent, all without a hitch. They were very kind and polite at this point - lovely person!

It wasn't until the commission was completed that I encountered problems. After sending the file, Poisonousvixen was incredibly rude about the corrections that they wanted. They kept talking about how I'd gotten their character's colours wrong (She said something about 'My character is blue, not turquoise'). She then proceeded to send a note entitled 'List of things wrong' and stated how unhappy she was with the commission and the many things she wanted me to correct. I apologised and fixed what she wanted to the best of my ability. After which...she suddenly, and simply, sent a note which said 'PERFECT!'. Confusing.

Upon uploading it to her FurAffinity gallery, she didn't link back at all - something which I ask of in my TOS and something which just minutes before, I'd asked her to do in a note, and she'd agreed to. I posted a comment politely asking if she could link back to my original submission and/or my FA page, as I had originally asked her. I remember her asking 'Why?' before deleting the submission (Presumably to get rid of my comment?) and reuploading it correctly...but with a few rude words in the description about being 'spammed' in the comments. Confused, I just left it be. I can never be bothered to deal with rude people, and it was at this point I proceeded to delete the notes...learn from my mistakes, I guess? Ugh.


This latter part is with regards to my TOS.

In my TOS, I state that I only allow re-uploading to FurAffinity galleries. I also state I'm happy to make exceptions to this of course, but only if people ask for permission first, and give clear links back.

It came to my attention however, that Poisonousvixen had uploaded my art to their SoFurry and Inkbunny galleries, without my permission and without asking...and with no credit or link back whatsoever. I know it's only a minor thing, but I thought I'd best let them know that they hadn't asked for permission and hadn't linked back to me.

I proceeded to make an account, simply so I could report the images to the admins. I posted a comment on the submission, which read:

"Hi there,

I didn't give you permission to post this on here...could you please remove it? Thank you."

I don't have a screenshot of their original submission however, as she deleted the image almost immediately. Within minutes...she'd reposted it. Here's the description under the new image:





On the plus side, I now have a link back. But...the coldness and the rudeness in the description utterly astounds me. Reported the submission to the admins again, still awaiting a response.



A while later, I found this comment thread under the submission:



Rude again, and also incorrect. Edited out the top person's username, and will edit the userpic out if requested!




In short, Poisonousvixen was incredibly rude and showed a disregard to my TOS, even when I spoke to them politely. Quite a few people have mentioned their problems with her. So hopefully this post will spread the word and warn people to stay away!

Her possible alt. account is "Mistress_Amethyst" on FA. It's not 100% for sure, so I don't really want to act on it just yet. But the behaviour, style of typing (Including the spelling), character design and front page layout all matchup pretty similarly...

Also, the account was created around the same time as the PV account was banned.

Don't know how to report ban evasion on FA, though...need to look into that one. |D

Ouch! That comment about the Disney artists! Ouch! Someone needs to learn the difference between "work for hire" contracts and private commissions.

I think I'll be avoiding both people in the comment you posted unless they really reexamine their actions. I understand being ignorant about copyright, but once being told that copyright isn't included... no excuse.

Before sending her the comnpleted commission file, I listed my Terms about reposting in a note to her. So she did see/read/know of my Terms, she just chose not to follow them. :(

OH BOY, where to start with PoisonousVixen.

I had a rather nasty run-in with her not too long ago because she was taking those fan-manga thingamawhatsit scans off HentaiFoundry, blatantly recolored them in MS Paint and tried to claim them as her own (along with blatant tracings/recolors of others' art from DeviantArt claiming "They said I could"/"It's free art so I don't have to credit anybody"-- Which was a lie 95% of the time when the original artists found out).

When people pointed out the For You / By You rule she simply said she could do whatever she wanted, flamed everyone who dared say anything against her (typical "you're just jealous" / "at least I'm not fat" / "let's see you do better" retorts) and then blocked them-- To my knowledge, at least most of those images were eventually removed, but there are still several older pieces in her gallery that I'm pretty certain aren't given proper credit or are traced/recolored.

The stuff with TheVioletRose? Not a hack-- I can't remember which comm it was in, but I know it was disproved and disproved fast as her backpedaling once she started getting busted on her art theft: Suddenly "I drew this myself" became "It was free lineart" which then became "Oh my sister drew this, I just uploaded it for her" which then became "omg my sister hacked my account and posted all this stolen art to get me in trouble!" and then became the "my sister did these I just took them to look like a good artist" (I'm going to see if I can find that post, as I'm fairly certain there are a lot more caps, but it could take a while.)

I'd assumed after I started seeing more and more artists doing commissions for her that she'd... I dunno, chilled out and grew up; given her attitude I'd always just sort of assumed that maybe she was one of those young newbies who "didn't get it" yet. Clearly, she hasn't changed much. :/ So on the one hand, I'm surprised she's here... but on the other hand, especially given my own experience with her, I'm not that surprised she's here.

I'm really sorry you've had to put up with this from her, and I'm really hoping she comes to her senses. :/ You did amazing work on her commission, and for her to suddenly dump a "Here's everything that went wrong" list on you is just... Disrespectful, to put it simply.

I had her trying to commission me a couple of times. I'm glad had ignored her now that I see this. She did sound rude and annoyed me a bit because she has missed to read on instructions when it's right in front of her.

I haven't read your TOS yet, so I don't know if it's already on there, but you should add:
'By commissioning me, it is expected that you have read, understood and agreed to the TOS.'
Keyword: expected. So she can't go saying 'oh, you didn't link me to it when I paid for it'.

On my 'Commission Info' pages (both on DA and FA), just above where I list the prices, I have links to my TOS. Just below these links, I have a line which says:
"By commissioning me, you automatically agree to follow these terms!"

In the actual TOS itself, the first line (Aside from the title) reads:
"I will assume and expect that all commissioners have read and agreed to all my Terms Of Service!"

....so YEAH. I don't know. Should I change/reword anything? o:

I enjoy that she thinks she is exempt from your TOS because you didn't specifically ask her to read it. Does she not realize what TOS stands for? Terms of Service, aka...these are the terms at which I will execute a service. When the service is rendered and paid for, it means the person for whom the service is rendered agrees to the terms. Duh. Duh duh duh. I can only hope this person will try to contact an artist and receive "No, I will not do art for you as your entry on A_B is terrible," as an answer. MAYBE then they will try to change. Doubtful, but eh...you never know.

I thought the name looked familiar. They tried to commission me too, but were incredibly rude, questioning my payment process, then insinuating that I wouldn't draw their character right, so I refunded them as soon as they sent me payment.

Not to mention they had a journal post at the same time begging for money because they were about to become homeless, written within hours of asking me for a commission. Not my business, I know, but it made me very uncomfortable.

I'd like to add that at one point, she wrote a journal on FurAffinity begging for donations for "medication" and whatnot. Her watchers ran to her like insects to a candle.
If her condition was serious, the fact that she lives in the UK means that she would get it free anyway. It also seems highly unreasonable that she would spend $125 on two adoptables a couple of days after posting and deleting that journal of hers. Unfortunately I don't have any proof that she wrote the journal... I wish I took screenshots, now.

And yes! I live in the UK, and I do have to pay for some medication, such as inhalers for my asthma, or say...if I got an ear infection or some other minor issue, I'd have to pay for ear drops etc. BUT. If my condition was serious, or if my condition was permanent (For example, diabetes) then I wouldn't have to pay for medication/an operation/healthcare/hospital stay etc. So...YEAH I dunno. D:

At this point, judging from how she makes the same assumptions of what she owns and does not own and even going so far as making money off of other people's work and ban-evading several times, it's clear that she knows what she's doing is wrong, but is so hard-pressed for money, she's willing to keep it up no matter what.

That or she's too stubborn to change her beliefs. Either way, wow, what a person. :/
