WHO: Alex Dachshund @ Furaffinity

WHAT: It was agreed as a digital peice, A rave picture for a picture of one of my chars. It was so long ago I cant even remember what I wanted. :\

WHEN: About 7 months ago, here is my half: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5208869/  (NOTE: For pictures like these, I charge about 20$+)

EXPLAIN:  .7 months ago, we agreed to a trade. And I finished mine, as seen above. He said He'd finish his. I kept reminding him after a month later, so I waited again... he was busy. So I was like "ok~ :3" And 7 months pass. he opens many journals stating "trades open" (I only found this one) So I reminded him again. he quickly shied out.

I dont know what to do here... X__X any help?

he offered to finish it after he finished some commsions, but he keeps taking commisions and getting backed up again.
And now because of incidents like this, I CANT do trades with strangers.

Same thing almost happened to me, I think-- the only reason I got my full trade is because I continuously nagged for it.
Although I was stupid-- I traded a hat (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6138141/) for a badge and an icon
I sent out the hat, because he asked me to, before I got my part of the trade.
After a while, I finally got the badge (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6349451/)
Although he took my icon off of his commission list, so I messaged him about it after a while and he said he forgot about it
Well, a lot of nagging later, I finally got it (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6464804/)

It was just kind of an unpleasant experience for me, iunno. I considered posting a warning here but I guess I kind of considered us to be friends, so I didn't.

Yeah, I guess I should have. I feel pretty bad now, since other people could be potentially scammed.

Just because someone CAN take commissions and art trades, doesn't mean they SHOULD.

...I...really didn't know you felt this way, I enjoyed trading with you. I really wanted to get it done but I kept forgetting to and I know you had to remind me several times but I did get them done. :/

For what it's worth, I was satisfied with the end results-- there was just too much trade canceling and commission taking and refunding and other shenanigans that made me extremely uncomfortable with the entire situation, especially considering you asked me to send you the hat BEFORE you finished your parts of the trade, even though I had posted proof that I had finished my part.

Yes, and I hosted TinyChats where I was wanting to work on your picture but most of the time you never showed up. :/ I had a feeling I would draw your character wrong since I have never drawn a skunk before and I wanted some assurance, you know? I wanted you to be there and correct me if I drew anything wrong but most of the times you never came. I know a few times you showed up and I did work on some of my half then.

That makes sense and all, but you really only told me that you were hosting tinychats once or twice, and you only worked on part of the artwork for one of them (if I remember correctly.) I'm not online all the time so I can't constantly check FA for journals announcing them.
